Officials in Transnistria will meet on Feb 28th supposedly to officially ask to be annexed by Russia.

The head of Transnistria, Vadim Krasnoselsky, is convening a congress of deputies at all levels, most likely next week.

The congress may issue an appeal to Putin requesting the admission of Transnistria into Russia.

Such a risky move could lead to a military attack by Moldova and the Ukrainian army.

👨‍💻 Tank analysis :

So far not a single country anounced any package that will include tanks to Ukraine in 2024.

Ukrainian lost at least 180 tanks during the counteroffensive and lose between 4-9 tanks weekly after the counteroffensive.

Russian forces were losing 0-2 tanks weekly during Ukrainian counteroffensive and these days losing 5-11 tanks weekly.

Russian tanks losses are high but expected as they are attacking, but Ukrainian tank loses are too high to be on the defense. Russian forces will have to take pause during the spring and focus on city fighting as they manufacture more tanks. Although, Ukraine doesn't manufacture tanks and lack of tanks already effecting its counterattacks.

Situation west of Avdivka: During the last hours Russian Army increased the offensive operations in this area of the front advancing some hundred meters west of Coke Plant towards Orlivka. In addition, troops began advancing west of Khimik settlement and northwest of Opytne taking control over most of the forest belt in this area and entered in the first parts of Sjeverne as Ukrainian Army began the withdrawal towards the new defense line.
