Erdogan let French military boats through the Bosphorus heading for Ukraine

Recently, footage appeared showing the passage through the Bosphorus by an unidentified cargo ship. 2 patrol boats FPB 98, produced by the French company OCEA, were seen on board the ship.

Acc to sources, these boats are intended for the state border service of Ukraine. The deal between Ukraine and the French company was concluded in 2019.

It is noted that the 1st batch of two FPB 98 boats was delivered to Ukraine in late May - early June of this year, and the transportation passed through Romania. The current batch appears to have taken an alternative route along the territorial waters of Bulgaria and Romania.

It is noteworthy that Turkey did not interfere with the passage of the ship, knowing full well that there were military ships on board, which raises quite a few questions regarding Erdogan, especially against the backdrop of his upcoming visit to Russia to discuss a grain deal.

The Swiss media published a photo of 95 Leopard 1 tanks idle in Italy. The tanks were bought by the Swiss company RUAG to be sent for repairs to Germany and then to Ukraine, but the Swiss government blocked the agreement. Moreover, an investigation has been…
According to the Greek publication Flight, the German government offered Greece to transfer to the German side from the Greek army 100 Leopard 1A5 GR tanks for their subsequent delivery to Ukraine.

In return, Greece should receive the notorious 96 former Italian Leopard 1A5 tanks owned by the Swiss company RUAG and stored in Italy.

The scheme is said to have been discussed on August 21 during Ukrainian President Zelensky's visit to Greece.

Previously, the German Rheinmetall group tried to buy Italian tanks directly from RUAG for transfer to Ukraine, but the Swiss government blocked this deal for neutralist reasons and even opened an investigation against RUAG.

At the same time, the Germans offer the Greeks to overhaul the former Italian Leopard 1A5 tanks at the expense of the German government with partial modernization, including increased protection and the installation of modern thermal imagers. Greek Leopard 1A5 GR tanks (photo) are Leopard 1A5 vehicles obtained from the Bundeswehr in 1998-2005. (total 348 units) and subjected to local improvements, while a significant part of the machines is already in poor technical condition.

Russian troops began to receive new 30-mm VOG-30D rounds for automatic grenade launchers.

Compared to conventional VOG-17 or VOG-30, the new VOG-30D has a maximum range of up to 2123 m (instead of 1730) and a radius of destruction of up to 13 m (instead of 7 and 10, respectively).

In addition, new ammunition reduces the flame signature when fired, which reduces the unmasking of the crew.

The contract for a batch of VOG-30D was signed at "Army-2023".

💥☢️ Explosion number one: on August 29, 1949, the first atomic bomb was tested in the USSR

➡️At that moment, the US nuclear monopoly, established in 1945 after the first nuclear tests in New Mexico and the attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, ended.

➡️In 1947, a huge "atomic test site" 170 km from Semipalatinsk was allocated to Soviet scientists for testing. Already in 1949, the first test of a nuclear weapon, RDS 1, took place here.

➡️Intelligence found that after the explosion, only small debris remained from the town specially built at the training ground. From 1949 to 1989 at least 468 nuclear tests were carried out at the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site.

➡️It is symbolic that on the same day - August 29 - in 1991, by the decision of the Kazakh authorities, the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site was closed.

🇷🇺🇵🇱 🇨🇳 Poland Suffers Huge Military Hack — Media

The CyberTriad hacker group, which allegedly has links to Russia and possibly China, has reportedly breached the computer network of Poland’s largest military academy, accessing sensitive data on the NATO member’s defenses.

The “massive” hack at Warsaw’s War Studies University (ASzWoj) occurred on July 10, on the eve of the NATO summit in Vilnius, Lithuania, according to a recent report by Polish online media outlet Onet. The cyber intruders not only succeeded in tapping state secrets, the report said but also encrypted the academy’s computers so that the entire system crashed.

“The effects of this attack have not been removed, and the academy’s employees do not have access to their computers and work email,” Onet said. Some of the lost data might not be recoverable.
