I have been asked what a better way can Russian forces take Avdiivka, they should use the same strategy as capturing Bakhmut with continuous none stop small local attacks attempting to encircle Avdiivka. Bakhmut wasn't captured by a big one push.

My own 2 cents worth
There are some similarities to Bakhmut but also some differences.
Avdeevka is more heavily fortified and has more industrial areas (large factories, quarries, mines)
Looks like they're going to try and cut the supply roads leading into Avdeevka before attacking the city itself.
As for criticism about going into columns, the area is heavily mined. So large units have no choice but to approach in a column through cleared roads/tracks.
IMO, they need a bigger concentration of Artillery and more airstrikes and better coordination for this sort of operation

🇷🇺correspondent Lisitsin on his TG channel says the AFU has withdrawn from Sinkovka and that the Russians have entered it (as mentioned yesterday)....so far we don't have any video from there

➡️ Intense battles continue along the entire contact line. Over the past day, the intensity of artillery shelling of Ukrainian positions in the Avdeevka fortified area has significantly increased. Ukrainian Armed Forces are making unsuccessful attempts to reclaim previously lost territory.
➡️ On the Starobelsk front, Russian military personnel, with artillery and air support, continue to assault Ukrainian strongholds in the Kupyansk and Svatovo sectors. Units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted counterattacks but were quickly detected and dispersed by artillery fire.
➡️ Furthermore, Ukrainian forces attempted a mass drone attack on the bordering settlements in the Belgorod and Kursk regions. Russian air defense units neutralized several dozen drones, preventing damage and casualties.
