UOL: five countries will become new members of the BRICS, including Iran and Saudi Arabia.
New BRICS members will be Argentina, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, according to the Brazilian news portal UOL , citing the draft final document of the summit.
The new participating countries were distributed geographically.
"BRICS will announce the expansion of the organization by another five countries... The final list of countries includes: Saudi Arabia , Argentina, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt," the report says.
According to the portal, in order to maintain a geographical balance, another African country may be included in the list.
BRICS unites Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, but recently 23 states have already expressed their desire to join the economic bloc, including Argentina, Iran, Algeria, Tunisia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia , and Egypt .

▪️ On the #Zaporozhye front, heavy fighting is taking place in #Rabotino. The enemy is using HIMARS MLRS and high-precision artillery systems, throwing armoured vehicles into the battle. The enemy is being hit in the rear with rocket weapons.
▪️ In the #Vremyevka sector, it was reported that the RF Armed Forces were carrying out airstrikes against the advancing enemy.
▪️ In the #Kherson direction, the enemy landed SRGs on islands, and the RF Armed Forces were firing artillery at them.
▪️ On the #Torskoye ledge and in the #Serebryanskoye forestry, there are positional battles.
▪️ The AFU struck the western part of #Crimea, they report the destruction of our S-300. Acc to the info I've seen, the Russian Army has left Rabotino.
So far the AFU hasn't been able to secure the Southern section of the village due to Russian fire...but it's probably just a matter of time.
As I suspected, the recent Russian counter was a rear guard action to cover the withdrawal

Having come under artillery fire, both AFVs rolled back. Artillery of the 36th army and other units continues to strike at the forest belts east of Urozhaynoye and at the inhabitant itself, preventing the enemy from rotating and accumulating forces. In connection with the losses in the 37th and 38th regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy command plans to transfer to the line of contact in the near future 2 battalions of the 35th regiment, previously withdrawn to restore combat capability. To the north of Staromlynovka, in the forest belts east of Urozhaynoye, several accumulations of enemy manpower were opened, prepared for an offensive in the direction of the Staromlynovka-Kermenchik line, and they were hit by fire.
To the north of Priyutny, a group of infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the support of two tanks, tried to move closer to the settlement, using artillery and heavy weapons of the motorized rifle unit of the 5th Army, the attack was repelled.
