The United States will transfer to Ukraine the MIM-23 Hawk Phase III medium-range air defense systems bought from Taiwan.

The Taiwanese edition of Zhongshi xinwenwang writes about this. According to the newspaper, the Taiwanese army was armed with several dozen launchers and hundreds of missiles for them.

MIM-23 Hawk Phase III is a modification of this air defense system, produced in the late 80s.
