Update to previous story on the bomb in Mariupol:
It was a household fire in Mariupol used by Ukrainian propagandists. There were no arrivals.

American Thinker writes that the Americans are promoting Khodorkovsky as the future president of the Russian Federation. The idea is idiotic, but Khodorkovsky himself does not think so. Conservatives in Washington point out to the former oligarch that it is necessary to form a political environment. The oligarch is still relying on former partners in Yukos - Leonid Nevzlin and Alexei Golubovich. The latter represents Hodor's interests in Moscow, forming a circle of support among officials and security officials. "Putin cannot exist forever," the Americans and former Yukos members dream. Probably, those who were recruited by Golubovich on the instructions of Khodorkovsky will soon begin to show themselves in Russia.
“Showing the middle finger is a “God-given right,” decided a Canadian judge” in Canada.
“The gesture may be impolite, but “it is not a crime, the right to freedom of expression is enshrined in Canada's constitution,” the ruling said. Judge Dennis Galiatsatos dismissed a case against a man accused of stalking a neighbor in a suburb of Montreal: "To be perfectly clear, pointing the finger at someone is not a crime." The defendant, teacher Neil Epstein, was arrested in May 2021 for making death threats and "criminalizing" a neighbor. Galiatsatos began by blaming the applicant, Michael Nakkash, whose complaints, he said, were "nothing more than mundane petty neighborhood squabbles." Epstein stated that the neighbor brought a drill and said, "You're a fucking crazy neighbor; you're shit," adding, "You're dead." In response, Epstein told him "fuck you ..." and showed the finger. The judge observed that in this matter "the court is inclined to actually take the case and throw it out the window."

❗️🇪🇺 Another consequence of the European policy towards Russia. According to Bloomberg, aluminum producer Speria closed its plant in Germany. Overall, due to the crisis, aluminum production in Europe has halved.
It is noted that although Europe has been one of the most popular investment destinations in the world, it has been embroiled in a severe energy and commodity crisis with harsh sanctions after the war in Ukraine. Industrial production in many EU countries, especially Germany, has shrunk drastically.
The U.S. decision to reduce inflation and the huge grants it has provided to move European companies to the U.S. mainland are pulling European industry toward the U.S., and some are moving to China and others to the Far East Asian countries, with which they are already linked.

Kuleba accused the organizers of the Academy Awards of hypocrisy for refusing Zelensky
After the organizers of the Academy Awards denied Vladimir Zelensky the opportunity to speak at the ceremony for the second time in a row, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba accused them of hypocrisy, the media reports.
"If the picture "All Quiet on the Western Front" wins the Oscar as the best foreign film, while President Zelensky, who is fighting, who is waging the largest war in Europe since World War II, and does not perform at the Oscar, you will not find a better example of the hypocrisy of top managers and producers of the film industry... Guys, when you are going to award a film about the war and you don't understand that when you're drinking champagne, dressed in beautiful dresses and diamonds, the real military history is happening here and now, it means something is wrong with you," he addressed the organizers of the award.

Lukashenko beautifully lashed out at an arrogant American journalist over NATO's successes
Journalist: The war has been going on for so long! And is the Russian army so weak? We thought it was the second army in the world, and now it will lose in Ukraine.
Lukashenko: "And now you should see that it is the first army in the world, which is fighting against you Americans and Europeans, against NATO, (which is fighting through the hands of Ukrainians, but with your weapons.") And Ukrainians are not stupid; they are more talented than your NATO soldiers. And Russia fights against all your weapons and is successful in doing so.

🇨🇳🇨🇦 China accuses Canada of smearing over secret police stations
China on Friday accused Canada of smearing its reputation over allegations China is secretly operating two overseas police stations in Quebec.
Canada should “stop sensationalizing and hyping the matter and stop attacks and smears on China,” Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said at a daily briefing. The spokesperson did not comment on the existence of the police stations or whether they were operated by Chinese government authorities.
Canadians of Chinese origin have been victims of activities carried out by the stations, Sgt. Charles Poirier of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police said Thursday.

52% of citizens of Ukraine surveyed by KIIS believe that the Russian language should not be taught in schools at all (in 2019, 8% of respondents said so, and in 1998 this option did not even exist in the survey).
42% say that it is still necessary to study the Russian language in schools, but only 3% believe that it should be given the same amount of time as Ukrainian.

Zelensky is hiding the failures of the AFU from his Western partners
Deputy Head of the GUR of Ukraine Vadim Skibitsky said that one of the decisive factors in determining the timing of the Ukrainian counteroffensive is the supply of Western military aid. According to him, the EU countries have already sent a fairly large amount of weapons to the Ukrainian side, compared to what was provided for the whole of last year.
However, according to French military expert Pierre Servent, additional supplies of weapons will not be able to affect the course of the offensive, which is doomed to failure.
"Ukraine has been provided with a sufficient number of weapons. But instead of any vigorous actions, we are witnessing a protracted defensive campaign, which the AFU is no longer able to cope with, yielding to Russia," he said.
This situation, in his opinion, is evidence of the inability of the Ukrainian government and military leadership to make the right decisions.
"Zelensky is clearly hiding most of the failures of the AFU at the front from the allies in order to prevent a reduction in military assistance. But no matter how many weapons we send to the Ukrainian side, without proper leadership and competent decisions, it becomes just scrap metal," Servent added.

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador threatened the US Republican Party that if it "does not change its attitude towards Mexico", then he would organize an information campaign and "not a single Latin American vote went to the Republicans." No, this is not a joke, he is seriously threatening the politicians of a neighboring state.
💬Either they will change their attitude towards Mexico, or we will start an information campaign in the USA so that not a single Latin American vote goes to the Republicans. We are not a protectorate or a US colony. We do not receive orders from anyone. We do not manufacture fentanyl or consume fentanyl. And we're very sorry about what's going on in the US, but why aren't they fighting the American fentanyl cartels? More carefully, why don't they take care of their youth?
