QCP: Equities sank across regions, gold dipped, oil spiked, and crypto sold off violently. Acting as a risk proxy before U.S. markets opened, crypto saw nearly $2 billion in liquidations, with ETH hit harder than BTC. Expect continued volatility as Trump prepares to negotiate with Canada and Mexico tonight, while claiming tariffs on the EU are "definitely happening." — link : Wu Blockchain News

The Week Ahead | @infinityhedge | Major Earnings

WEEKLY US SPOT ETF FLOWS:
*BTC: +$559M
*ETH: -$45.5M

US BTC spot ETF Options:
*Total OI Call/Put Ratio(Nominal): 2.16
*Total OI Call/Put Ratio(Delta): 4.65

Macro:
*U.S. tariffs on Canada, Mexico and China will kick in from Tuesday. Trump says he will speak to Mexico and Canada's leaders on Monday and China also sees room to negotiate. (so negotiations will start) (will Trump back down with offers? If yes, on what conditions markets will be watching)
*Tariffs: Market will be watching for any announcements by Trump on tariffs and the broader fallout after Trump’s tariff war. Canada, Mexico vowed to hit back at US levies with tit-for-tat measures, while China vowed “corresponding countermeasures,” without announcing any new tariffs. Tariffs will affect trade worth ~$1.3T, representing ~5% of US GDP. Tariff impacts in Trump's first term suggest this could knock 1.2% off GDP and add ~0.7% to core PCE. JPM & Morgan Stanley said that sustained 25% US tariffs will throw Mexico & Canada into recession.
*China’s Financial Markets will re-open after the lunar new year holiday on 5
*US NFP & Unemployment Rate on 7
*Fed Speakers Whole week

ICYMI Trump:
*Trump: Holding the rates at this point was the right thing to do (surprising news)
*Trump: Pain from tariffs will be worth the price
*Trump: we'll be doing something very substantial on tariffs with European Union. Trump said he will “definitely” place new tariffs on the EU.
