It was small, experimental & chaotic, but the foundations of crypto were already there:
🔹 2009: Bitcoin launched with the Genesis Block. Early miners could use ordinary computers to secure the tiny network.
🔹 2010: The famous Bitcoin Pizza transaction showed that BTC could work as real-world digital money.
🔹 2010–2012: Exchanges, marketplaces, developers, and early adopters began shaping the ecosystem.
🔹 2012: Bitcoin's first halving cut the block reward from 50 BTC to 25 BTC, reinforcing its predictable supply model.
