An unidentified DeFi vault on Base has reportedly been drained of 1,783 wstETH, worth approximately $6 million.

The vault’s owner has not been publicly identified, and there is currently no indication that Base or wstETH itself was compromised.

Hackers hijacked the .gh (Ghana), .sl (Sierra Leone) and .as (American Samoa) registries, changing DNS records and obtaining HTTPS certificates for major brands and Google domains.
