Statement by Viviane Fischer

Viviane Fischer has today, at the beginning of the ➥119th meeting of the Corona Investigative Committee, made the following statement:

"The Committee will be held today and also until further notice without Reiner. There are inconsistencies for which we are waiting for constructive solutions from Reiner. As the saying goes, actions speak louder than words. Actions are necessary so that the committee can continue to work undisturbed.

But I am optimistic that everything that happens now, seen in the overall context, will ultimately be for the good. Sunlight is the best of disinfectants.

One thing is clear: we will continue to pursue with the same intensity our statutory goals of investigating and working through the dangers of the virus and the consequences of the measures."
