We Christians have many symbols, and they all serve different purposes. The crucifix we retain as reminder of Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross; the cross we retain as reminder both of His sacrifice and our redemption in that it is empty, like the tomb; and the Hakenkreuz is our war cross, which is why it still strikes terror into the enemy and his servants.
