Silenced Voices

In April of this year John and Alex, both injured by the Covid Vaccine, joined us to tell their story.

The vaccine has caused mass injury and death across the world, yet our scheduled talk, ‘Silenced Voices’ was further silenced by cancellation from several venues in Edinburgh because of the subject matter. The Ukrainian Catholic Church in Leith kindly opened their doors at the last minute for Common Knowledge. Some of this egregious harm has been recognised but most of it has not, leaving the injured without help.

The Reformers

Last night we had the pleasure of hosting philosophy student Matthew Brown who gave us a talk on the pivotal role of Critical Theory in revolutionising educational research and the consequences as observed over the past 50+ years in Universities in the West.

Our thoughtful audience did not disappoint as usual, with well-crafted questions evoking a provocative and candid discourse about the possibly fatal road our science & research institutions are travelling on.

Matthew mentioned the Grievance Studies Affair where in 2017 & 2018, three authors, James Lindsay, Peter Boghossian and Helen Pluckrose, set out to demonstrate that Woke “scholarship” is trash. They recognised that the peer-review system has a simple, catastrophic weakness: political corruptibility through the corruption of the key gatekeepers of the system, academic “peers".

Earlier this year a talented documentary filmmaker named Mike Nayna, multi-part documentary called The Reformers, a nod to the beginnings of the Protestant Reformation that challenged the corruption of the late Medieval Catholic Church.

Nayna rightly sensed all along that the problem in our universities is that they have become corrupt, inbred purveyors of a religious doctrine posing as social science—one badly in need of a Lutheran hammer on the door.

A very enlightening [pardon the pun] watch!
