Dogs make us happy 🥰
The feel-good chemical oxytocin can be released just by making eye contact with your animal pet 🐕
In a study comparing the levels of oxytocin in two groups of dog owners, the group that was told not to stare directly at their dog had lower levels than the group that made regular eye contact.
According to another study, dog owners who rely on their dogs for social fulfillment are "less depressed, lonely, had higher self-esteem, are happier, and tended to have less perceived stress."
Dogs truly are our best friends 🤗

Dogs are a reflection of your personality 🐩🐕

The type of dog you have reveals a lot about your personality to others.

A study conducted in England discovered a strong link between people's personality and the sort of dog they owned. Toy dog owners, for example, were more clever, while utility dog owners, such as Dalmatians and bulldogs, were the most conscientious.

Let`s talk about Beagles! 🐾
There are two types of Beagles: those that are under 13 inches tall at the shoulder and those who are between 13 and 15 inches tall. Both types are strong, tough, and, as dog owners say, "large for their inches." They have different fur colors and patterns. Bicolored ones are the most common: red and white or tan and white (with variations that include lemon, a reddish, almost orange, brown, dark brown, and black). The most common tricolored pattern is white with large black and light brown spots, which also can be dark brown or jet black. With huge brown or hazel eyes framed by long, low-set ears on a broad head, the Beagle's gorgeous face is by far its most distinct feature. www.instagram.com/coindogs

Let`s talk about French Bulldogs! 🐾
With its enormous bat-like ears and mild temperament, the one-of-a-kind French Bulldog is one of the world's most popular small dog breeds, especially among people living in cities. The Frenchie is a fun-loving, alert, versatile dog. Its head is broad and square, with large creases above the short nose. Its physique is compact and muscular, accentuated by the sleek, dazzling coat of fur. And of course, the huge, pointy 'bat ears' are the breed's most distinctive characteristic.
French Bulldogs are smart, charming, and friendly. They are quiet dogs who don't bark often, yet their attentiveness makes them good watchdogs. They easily adapt to living with any number of people, and they don't need a lot of outside activity. They get along nicely with other animals and enjoy meeting new people. It's no surprise that city dwellers adore these incredibly entertaining and companionable dogs. https://www.instagram.com/coindogs/

Today dog lovers worldwide celebrate Dog Day! We love our four-legged companions and on this day we show how much we appreciate them! Pure breeds and mutts, heroes and family dogs - we cherish all of them!
We have to thank an Animal Advocate and a Pet & Family Lifestyle Expert, Colleen Paige for the creation of Dog Day. Years ago, on this day she has adopted her first furry companion, Sheltie. August 26th is even officially recognized as a festive occasion in New York legislation!
Dog day was created not only to celebrate but also to spread awareness of dog rescuers and shelters. That’s right, don’t just turn it into a spa day for your pet, give it some extra tasty treats and buy matching clothes for both of you! Visit a local animal shelter and adopt a puppy or donate to an animal charity of your choice. A fundraising event aimed to spread awareness of animal rights or local animal shelters would also be a great idea.

Happy Dog Day and make it special!🐶
Why do dogs sleep so much?
You may be wondering, why is your pet sleeping all the time, sometimes all day long? The amount of sleep a dog needs depends on plenty of factors, including age, size, breed, health condition, and level of physical activity. Animals that have nothing to do throughout the day just take a nap to not feel bored, and because it’s very pleasant for them. American Kennel Club states another reason why dogs need a lot more sleep than humans - their REM sleep (the deepest and most important phase of resting) length. REM sleep makes for about a quarter of total sleep for humans, while it’s only about 10% for dogs! Your pets simply need to sleep more to compensate for this discrepancy!

Composition: German Shepherd 100%

If you want to get a 100% pure breed, here is how to do it 👇 By carefully selecting breeding partners with the DNA of a German Shepherd after several generations, you can end up with a 100% pure
Hi, pawsome friends!
Let`s play True or false! 🐶
Can you guess which of the following statements are true and which are false?
Give it a try 😉
№1 Dogs of all ages can dream, but puppies and elderly dogs have dreams more often than adult dogs 😴
№2 Seven dog years equals one human year 🎂
№3 Dogs’ sense of smell is legendary, but did you know that a dog’s nose contains up to 300 million receptors? A human nose, on the other hand, has roughly 5 million. 👃🏼

Why are dogs so happy to meet us?
When you return home after a busy day at work, even if you’re late, your dog would always be happy to see you! This joyful reaction to meeting their owners is one of many reasons why we love our four-legged companions. But what causes this behavior?
When researchers were studying dog brain scans, they noticed that the smell of a familiar person activates pleasure centers like nothing else. It’s similar to how human children react to seeing their mothers after being separated for a while. Spending time with their owners makes our dogs the happiest animals on the planet!
Yorkshire Terriers are an old and regal breed. Long before they became the highly decorated lapdogs of Victorian ladies, Yorkies were used to catch rats at mines and mills.Their floor-length, silky coat of steel blue with a deep golden tan gives Yorkshire Terriers a truly noble appearance. Don't be fooled by their cuteness, though. Yorkshire Terriers are tenacious, feisty, bold, and bossy dogs - all characteristics of a true terrier. They provide their owners with years of love, fun, and close companionship.
Meet our CoinDog Yorkshire Terrier, CHANDLER CRYSTAL:
“Top o' the mornin' to ya! I'm Chandler Crystal. I love waking up early then indulging in long afternoon naps. Rolling in manure? No way! My coat is too precious! You'll often find me walking into my favorite pet store like I own the place. I'm looking for someone to share my collection of artisan rawhide with!” 😄

Let`s talk about Golden Retrievers! 🐾

The Golden Retriever is a medium-sized, strong dog with a glossy, shiny golden coat of fur which gives the breed its name. Its hallmark is a large head, with a kind and intelligent look in the eye, short ears, and a straight nose. They have a fluid, energetic gait, and merrily waggle their fluffy tails as they walk.

Golden Retrievers are easy-to-train family dogs who are outgoing, trustworthy, and eager to please. They have joyful and lighthearted personalities, even as adults. Outdoor play is their favorite pastime. Swimming and fetching are natural activities for a breed created to retrieve ducks for hours on end.

What does your dog want to tell you when it barks? Nowadays researchers, such as authors in Scientific American, have discovered that by changing how their barks sound like dogs can send different messages. Dog barking spectrograms show how changes in length, pitch, and amplitude depend on various scenarios. The same can be said about growling.
Even though we don’t know what exactly different barks and growls mean, experiments show that dogs react differently to sounds made by other dogs. For instance, one of these experiments involved recording dog growling during eating and growling at a stranger. Then, the researchers have offered another dog treats and played recordings of both growls. Surprisingly, it reacted more hesitant when listening to “eating” growls than to “stranger” ones. Further experiments showed that both dogs and humans tend to react more strongly to “stranger” growls than any others.
Hi there!
Today, let`s talk about hero dogs 🦸‍♂️
Debbie Parkhurst was eating an apple at home when a piece became stuck in her throat. She realized she was choking and began pounding her chest in an attempt to dislodge it. Toby, her Golden Retriever, noticed her strange behavior and leaped to his feet, placing his paws on her shoulders. He pushed her to the ground and jumped up and down on her chest, causing the piece to fall out. He then licked Parkhurst's face in an attempt to keep her awake. It's unclear how Toby came up with this modified Heimlich maneuver, but his bravery earned him a Dog of the Year award.
What a hero! What do you think?
