Rollups are a layer 2 solution to reduce congestion on the Ethereum mainnet by handling transactions externally. A recent report by Arcane Research analyzed how much of a difference this has made to the blockchain’s ecosystem.

The report found that rollups like Arbitrum One and Optimism have reduced fees by 90% or more. For example, if transferring ETH costs $18.11 and swapping tokens costs $90.55, Optimism cost less than $0.01 for both these activities.

Ethereum's native asset Ether (ETH) may rebound by nearly 60% in the coming sessions as the bulls pin hopes on a classic bullish continuation pattern.

Ethereum co-founder introduces new sharding solution ‘EIP- 4844’

👤Vitalik Buterin, a co-founder of the popular Ethereum blockchain, has introduced a new Ethereum Improvement Proposal that aims to reduce Ethereum’s network fees by up to 100 times in the future.

The new solution called EIP- 4844 or Proto-Danksharding is a new type of sharding process that focuses on blob-bearing transactions that cannot be performed by the EVM. If implemented, Proto-danksharding will replace danksharding, a process that turns Ethereum into a unified settlement and data availability layer.

BitMEX Users Can Now Buy and Convert Ethereum☑️

Formerly known as a Bitcoin-only derivatives exchange, BitMEX has abandoned its plans as it adds support for new assets, with the latest being Ethereum’s native token – Ether. The announcement from March 21 informed that users will be able to deposit, withdraw, buy, and convert ETH effective immediately.
