I have put on the full armor of God

and taken my place in the line

with my brother and sister patriots;

retreat is not an option.

I shall never take one step back.

The enemies attacks do not weaken me but rather strengthen me in my resolve;

I shall never return to being a member of an involuntary serf class,

I will never again be lulled into false security in exchange for being a slave;

I am a citizen and a citizen I shall remain.

I have burned the boats.

I will never surrender.
