The biggest threat to a developer is not AI. It is the decision to stop learning.
We are living in a time when AI can generate code, build websites, explain complex algorithms, and help us solve problems in seconds.
But here is a question worth discussing.
If AI can write code faster than you, what makes you valuable as a developer?
I believe the answer goes beyond knowing how to write code. It is about understanding how systems work, identifying the right problems to solve, making technical decisions, and knowing when the code generated by AI is actually wrong.
A developer who understands the fundamentals can use AI as a powerful tool. A developer who depends entirely on AI may struggle when things break and there is no simple answer.
Technology will continue to evolve. Programming languages will change. Frameworks will become outdated. New AI tools will appear.
But the ability to think critically, solve problems, and keep learning will remain valuable.
My goal is not to compete with AI at writing code. My goal is to become the kind of developer who knows how to use AI intelligently while understanding every important decision behind the solution.
Now I want to hear your opinion.
Will AI make developers less valuable, or will it make developers with strong fundamentals even more powerful?
Let's discuss in the comments.

MarketMate β my today project
Today, I built MarketMate, a market spending and savings tracker using React, Vite, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB Atlas.
I practised connecting the frontend, backend, and cloud database, building REST APIs, storing real data, and calculating savings.
The best moment was seeing my own purchase records saved in MongoDB Atlas!
Learning by building, improving step by step, and growing toward becoming a Full-Stack Developer. π»

My MongoDB learning journey continues!
Today, I completed the second part of my MongoDB learning, focusing on CRUD operations and how applications manage data.
In this lesson, I explored the four fundamental database operations:
Create β Inserting new documents into a MongoDB collection.
Read β Retrieving all documents or finding a specific document using queries.
Update β Modifying existing documents using updateOne() and the $set operator.
Delete β Removing specific documents using deleteOne().
I also learned about MongoDB ObjectId, how to identify individual documents, and how to connect database operations with REST API endpoints using Node.js and Express.
To put the concepts into practice, I continued working on my MarketMate project, a market spending and savings tracker built with React, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB Atlas.
One important lesson I learned is that building a full-stack application is not just about displaying information. It is also about creating, retrieving, updating, and managing data correctly.
Every lesson and every small project is helping me understand how real-world applications work.
Still learning. Still building. One step at a time.
