📚 Statins & Pregnancy | الستاتينات أثناء الحمل🤰

الدراسات الحيوانية 🧪📝 أظهرت أن statins قد تكون teratogenic⚠️ (أي تسبب تشوهات جنينية)، لكن الحقيقة في البشر ما زالت غير مؤكدة.❓

🔬 دراسة نرويجية شملت أكثر من 800,000 امرأة حامل🤰 وجدت أنه لا يوجد ارتباط بين استخدام الستاتينات في الثلث الأول من الحمل (first trimester) وحدوث تشوهات خلقية
(congenital malformations).

لذلك:
النساء اللاتي كنّ يستخدمن statins ثم اكتشفن الحمل يمكن طمأنتهن أن خطر التشوهات غير مرتفع.
لكن 😀 يُنصح بتجنب statins أثناء الحمل لأنها قد تزيد من خطر الإجهاض (spontaneous abortion) أو الولادة المبكرة (preterm labor).

📊 الفعالية:
اعتمدت الـ FDA على نتائج WAYPOINT trial التي أظهرت تحسّنًا واضحًا في nasal obstruction, polyp size, و symptom control.

💊 الجرعة وطريقة الإعطاء:
210 mg subcutaneous injection every 4 weeks.

⛔️ الآثار الجانبية ≥ 3%:
Nasopharyngitis, URTI, epistaxis, pharyngitis, back pain, influenza, injection-site reaction, arthralgia.

🎯 الخلاصة:
الـ Tezepelumab (Tezspire) يوسّع آفاق العلاج في مرضى
CRSwNP
