The next informal meeting for any and all members takes place tonight, at the Old Spotted Dog Ground, with a 7pm start.

It’s a general chat between members and committees about various summer tasks, including the FC St Pauli friendly next week.

Leaflet delivery help

CCFC and the Old Spotted Dog Ground Trust need help on Saturday at 11am to deliver leaflets to all the homes surrounding the ground so our neighbours know we have a big evening game on Tuesday.

In what it thought to be a first in German football, FC St. Pauli are bringing their men’s and women’s first team to Britain on a joint post-season tour under the banner ‘Football has no Gender’.

As part of proceedings, you are invited to a discussion panel on the growth of women’s football. The event is being hosted by Levi’s who are sponsoring the tour. The event is being led by Sophia Axelsson – someone at the heart of the development of the women’s game – who is General Manager of both AFC Wimbledon and Clapton CFC women’s first teams! The panel is composed of people from both FC St. Pauli and Clapton Community FC and promises to offer a unique insight into the development of women’s football in both Germany and Britain.

Our men’s first team are seeking a paid physio for the coming season in the Eastern Counties League Division 1 South.

Applicants will need to be available for all home and away games, need to have passed “The FA Intermediate Treatment of Injury” course or equivalent, have experience as a physio for a football team, and hold a valid first aid certificate.
