A major problem with most of the political discourse I see online is that ideologues of all types are rarely realistic about statecraft. It is admirable to have ideological principles, but unless you try to appreciate the realities of actually governing you are basically living in a fantasy world.

Politics is the art of the possible, because it is also war by other means. In other words, gaining and holding political power fundamentally requires winning political conflict. This doesn't mean you shouldn't have ideals that you're trying to actualize, but it does mean that there are hard strategic constraints every statesman is bound within which impose the necessity of compromise.

Instead, many seem to view the powers that be as though they can basically do whatever the hell they want. As though there are no structural constraints upon their decisionmaking. This is vital to grasp, as we ethnonationalists must distinguish between the structural constraints upon the realization of our goals and simple ideological opposition.

I say this because it is not enough to have good ideological principles, that's a good start, but you also need a just as good strategy of implementation. Restoring ethnic homogeneity where it has been undermined is not as simple as us all agreeing that it would be a good idea. We need answers for the structural obstacles to such a thing even becoming politically feasible.

I'm not saying I have all the answers, but having a realistic discourse about this is the first step towards developing them. If you only look at politics through the lense of ideology but not strategy, you aren't going to be useful at all to this conversation or to the actual implementation of change.
