Ages ago, a Czech fren of mine recommended this book to me. It is a demythologized story set in the Lord of the Rings universe but from the perspective of the Mordorians. It frames Sauron’s hordes not as evil orcs but progressive and industrial humans that are wrongfully maligned by the backwards oppressive imperialists. “Orc” is just a slur for the swarthy civilizations outside of the West. I see this book as an allegory of how Russians see themselves as being wronged by the West and as a Social Justice Left deconstruction of all that is ordered, good, and holy. That being said, I would recommend reading it rather than watch The Rings of Power.

For those of you thinking Russia are the baddies:
Look up how many churches have been built vs how many mosques have been built in Russia in the last decade, then compare those figures to the churches & mosques built in your country in the same time frame.
Food for thought.

The comic book industry has been in the tubes for years. Here you see that they can't even give their comics away.
The only reason they're even still in print is because they're backed by the movie industry and vampire investment groups.
No 10 year old boy wants to read about feminist girlboss superheroes and nihilistic men in tights.
We're led to believe that superhero comics are a timeless monolith. But in reality marvel was on the brink of bankruptcy in the 70's before they made Savage Sword of Conan. And before that detective noir and horror comics were the most popular.
Most will blame wokeness for the decline in comic book sales. But, the truth is that the trope of superpowered man in tights that conceals his identity has been on life support for a long time. It lacks longevity.
People still like graphic novels. But the west has handed over their tradition to foreigners in the form of manga.

This was pointed out to me in my latest interview with Adam Katz, but one way you can tell that you are being fed a caricature is when the supposed refutation of a theory tells you nothing about the theory's contents.
Compare this video to what Carl does when he goes through the literature on critical race theory. He pours over their works. He combs it for details. He cites them and refutes them point by point.
Here, he just throws out a few names and starts condemning some vaguely evil thing, refuting them by associating it with both Nick Fuentes and a Satanic terrorist cult and then saying "There is no Stuart monarchy lol!"
There are plenty of critiques you could aim at the Dark Enlightenment - its Hobbesian approach to politics, its question-begging assertions about theology, its tendency to sacrifice clear messaging for nonsense, etc. But that would require having an ounce of intellectual honesty, a foreign concept to Carl Benjamin and the Lotus Eaters crowd.
