Its clear potter is the maggot.
Look, we can talk about time , new players and even the many players crap but its clear even from his Brighton days the guy is average. If you go and look deeper on how brighton used to score their goals, you will even be more down beat. The issue with Potter is structural.
Deeply analyse how we have been playing. Besides Joao cooking how is the perfomance of the rest of the attacking players? While Joao involvement in games has been 150%... could u say Mudryk has even been at 30%? besides Noni trying with his runs, how has he been effective in terms of Moving opponents shape, Goals and asssists? How about Havertz and Ziyech irregardless of their obvious crap? How involved in our attacking play has Enzo been besides one or two games?
Look at how Mudryk is always isolated hugging the wings like its his girlfriend. ofcourse he's been told to keep the width wide.. how has that affected involvement of Reece and Chilwel to provide width in our attack instead? How has this affected fast interplays in central areas ?
Passing triangles are not science. Its just a basic Possesion, Support , overload and Movement Attacking system. How many do we see them? How many intechanges and interpasses with movements do we see except the pass and wait? How often does one player circulate the ball in the final third yet in Mudryk, Enzo, Mount and Joao we have players who can do that?
Enzo strength at Benfica was being the maestro Orchestra that gets things moving from defence to attack.. now he is been reduced more oftenly to a shitty sitting deeplying playmaker... this role has been left for often useless ,our own british, Wonderkid , potential RLC... what if we had a pure defensive midfielder instead that would unshackle Enzo football poetry? Wouldnt this help with attacking structural foundation?
How often have we seen marauding Reece? Especially when you have Noni that can cut in threateningly leaving the wide areas for him. We've set ourselves out guided by fear.
Zonal marking With defensive shifting. How would this help unlock our attacking potential and Enhance fast shifting of balls to dead zones? Basic soccer isnt it?
The last is our press triggers that would force opponents into committing and falling into traps that would allow people like mudryk to flourish from deep like he used to at shakhtar. Recently we've just been all over with our presses. We ve adopted more 1 to 1 stupid pressing than the most effective zonal pressing?.
Shaving hair and beards could have been a dreamers way of riding the supposed Loosing jinx, but its self reflection that could get him out of his mess.
Leeds game is here. The camel and the back.
