The conduct of Graham Potter in the face of all the vile personal has been nothing short of incredible - respectful, polite, diplomatic.

The amount of mental strength that goes into it is unbelievable. I have so much respect for him.

Reading Manager on Cesare Casadei:

“Really pleased with Ces. He’s needed those couple of weeks of training to get into that tempo and you saw that today. He’s getting there. Sometimes I look at him and wish he was our player.”

Graham Potter:

"The players have given me a fantastic reaction. Obviously, everyone is hurting after the weekend. We have to take the responsibility, do better, analyse the situation and focus to turn it around with a fantastic game against Spurs."

On N'Golo Kante:

"Great to see him on the training pitch. He's joined the first part of the warm up. A bit to go yet but fantastic to have him back. He's a fantastic player, he'll bring quality, energy and intelligence."

On Wesley Fofana's return against Southampton:

"He did really well. Everyone saw his aggression, intensity. Him and Raheem, nice to have him back. They were positives from Southampton even though the result was disappointing."

On Enzo Fernandez:

"A positive for us. Not easy to arrive at the time he did. He's having to adapt to us, the league, intensity. Combine that with the #UCL. He had a fantastic week in terms of experiences. Every day we see his quality."

"Enzo in the team along with those returning from injury is real competition. The spirit is positive. They're competing in a really good way. Training really well. Ready to help."

Potter: “Arsenal were 2 years into Mikel's reign and he's close to getting the sack, people wanting him out, disaster… and of course now things have changed”.

“Klopp at #LFC… they haven’t got the results, all of a sudden people want him out. It’s just the nature of football”.

Edouard Mendy fractured his finger two months ago but still isn't training. The Chelsea TV feature about the keepers pretended he didn't exist. Is he being frozen out because he won't sign a new deal, or is he freezing himself out because he's not getting the deal he wants?

Why isn't there any update on Edouard Mendy?
