The door?
No. Not yet.
Personally I want to see him get serious not get sacked. He should drop this little ideas in his head with this thing called "the process" and get to think of what club we are.
These shadows are pushing his comfort zones. You can hear from his talk. The coach is relaxed. What matters to him more is the shadow rather than figure. We need to see continuation and less gambling. Starting and playing all halves well rather than adapting to misplays. Consistency in team selection. Consistency style of play. This also means good opponents analysis and respective good game approach. In this we will have seen a process of some kind. This way we can have little belief and we can stomach even the weirdest of losses.
Above all, We need to see him look like he is feeling the pain of loosing. Let him pretend at least. And we do not need him to rub salt to our wounds from the losses with his "wisdom talks". Just get angry and get serious for once. Let's see some growth for Heavenly sake.
After Tottenham, Leeds, Dortmund and Leicester with same pain, Even the camel will break its back. That's Todd's camel... For some of our us, Leeds will be enough.
There are some games we saw positivity. But plenty we've seen crap. Let him choose how he is defined in our heads. And let him choose his words
After Leeds, with same mediocrity, We'll seek the best voice and dig for best insults and find the right words to call for his head and his mouth
It's coming. But it's also avoidable

If you could sign 1 player in the summer that is realistic, achievable and adds something to the squad - who would you pick?

Gvardiol on Nkunku:
"I have never seen before a player like Christoph, he is unbelievable. Every time I talk with someone about him I always say wherever he goes I want to go with him"
Gvardiol on failed chelsea move:
"My agent called me and said that Chelsea is extremely interested and, of course, you definitely think about a serious offer from a huge club like Chelsea. Leipzig said they didnβt want to sell me. In the end I really struggled with that decision but we didnβt make an agreement. It is what it is"

π¨ Tuchelβs complaints after the Arsenal match in pre season did not go down well, Potterβs style suits the approach of the owners far better, those with knowledge said. Current feeling is to fight through this period.
Senior sources insist there have been a number of instances of Potter becoming upset and having tough conversations with players in the dressing room and during meetings. Potter is described as being intense at Cobham and there are no fears over his mentality.
Feeling inside Chelsea - Potter needs at least one pre season, he was brave to take the Chelsea job, sources noted how top managers donβt take jobs mid season and that Chelsea took a risk.

I was talking to a friend about this and found it fascinating - how do you even conduct training sessions with 33 first-team players, like we have now?
Out of the 33, at least 10 will be unhappy with their status. At least 20 will believe they should start every game. It's wild.
Mourinho made it clear in his first interview at Chelsea that he wanted 21 outfielders + 3 GKs.
Conte won with a core rotation of 15 players in total.
Tuchel had 22 + 3 (including Anjorin and Tammy) in his first season.
Those seem to be the optimal numbers. 33 is crazy.

I suspect this is why the club is giving Potter a long rope, in which case you cannot fault them. If you want a long-term philosophy, using 33 players in training won't cut it.
33 is a pre-season number and even then coaches quickly break that down into something manageable.

Take me back ...
Maurizio Sarri had a clear pattern and style of play but didn't have the players to execute it. Even his worst enemy can admit that but they booed him and demanded for more.

On the last fireside before he was appointed, we pointed out that Brighton rarely scored goals more way off than the individual brilliance or long range efforts and anticipated that could be a problem for Chelsea.... Well... These are stats from a daily mail article today....It's seriously a systematic problem? Right attacking structures as we had pointed out earlier. So the question is, What needs to be done? What are right structures. Playing well is not scoring... And even playing well has not been the case recently...
You will be surprised it's not even the biggest thing that needs to be done. Just little Tweeks will get us right on our foot.
That will be our next point of analysis.
