Auba Fortune
Aubemayang is a reknown finisher. There is no question about that and there has never been any question about that. His attitude is questionable at times.
Playing in half wing or as a full striker, there is no question that Aub is a better finisher that Havertz. His movement, link up play, positioning, shooting and finishing is as good as any striker you'd find. His speed not badly lost for a man his age.
Just like the rest of chelsea attacking players, Auba fortunes infront of goal has greatly dwindled. His chance in first team coming in sketches of here and there. And as we expect all their fortunes to change with new signings, traits that define Aubas play could provide immediate impact for goals than Havertz.
At Barcelona, He scored 14 goals and assists in 24 matches. He thrived having Dembele, Traore and Depay flanking hin with pace and technique that would unlock, split and break opponents for him to finish. Plenty of times it was chance and bang. This was down to his Mercurial positioning and ability to find right spaces in the box. His movements behind strikers and his anticipation is also a little better than Havertz.
Aub can enjoy the same service and produce same output with the signing of Mudryk and Joao. His speed and techniques could easily enhace cohesion and fluidity upfront better. .
Barring Barca transfer rumour and biased selection from the coach, Aubamayang could just be the guy for immediate impact with the goals rather than Havertz who is still trying to find his shooting boots.
And this is unemotional, unbiased and with nothing personal against the young man. I still feel he will be our star for the future. If he can work on his Physycological side of the game

Mykhailo Mudryk hasnโt played a competitive match since November 23rd. He got an assist and scored a late penalty to win the match 3-2.
The Liverpool match at the weekend will be a 59 day gap since that match.

Just checked Romeo Lavia's defensive numbers and my mind is blown. He's averaging almost 6 tackles + true interceptions per 90, a pretty stunning figure for an 18 year old in his first ever PL season.
The way he plays looks very sustainable too. I like him a lot.
Southampton are a bit of a shambles and therefore he can't do much on the ball but I like his passing technique as well. Looks like the next big DM in English/World football, very impressive.
Wonder how much he will go for if/when Southampton get relegated.
Lavia is also in the 83rd percentile for aerial duel success and 94th percentile for loose-ball recoveries!
If this is his level in his ever PL season, at an age where he can't even buy a drink in some places, I can't imagine his future levels. Hopefully he avoids injures.

Ian Maatsen vs Reece James - Championship stats.
While Maatsen benefits from playing for a more ball-dominant team, his stats compare very well to Reece's Championship numbers. Definitely one to watch out for.

In the middle of all this transfer news, we've overlooked just how special Lewis Hall's rise has been.
At his age, Reece was playing in the Championship. Hall has been better than a world-record signing and has seamlessly pushed him out of the XI - while playing out of position!
Hall's risk-taking is evident, he backs himself to the hilt and that's lovely. He'll make mistakes occasionally but we should encourage his risk-taking, not suppress.
For a 18 year old to play in a big team and take so many risks is special. He's technically on a high level too.
