Chelsea's points per game puts them on course to finish tenth and replicate the 'Mourinho season' (as Antonio Conte put it).
Graham Potter is the first Chelsea manager to lose three in a row on two separate occasions since Glenn Hoddle but he did so over a three year period between 93 and 96.
Incidentally, it is the lowest total of goals for a Chelsea team after 20 PL games since 1996.

Some people still blaming the manager again for todayβs loss. An injury to a key player and a red card to our best player, no manager itw will do better than what we are seeing with these players and injury crisis, 60% of the players arenβt good enough

2nd worst run of results in the Premier League era and people are still doing mental gymnastics for Potter. All I hear is excuses excuses excuses, its his responsibility to prove to us that he's good enough and everything we've seen so far indicates otherwise.

Lets discuss just a few of the red flags we've had under Potter.
π22
π©Kepa, Thiago, Koulibaly, Kovacic, Mount, Cucurella, Jorginho, Havertz, and probably Felix, that's 9 out of Potter's best XI available against Fulham stop with the excuses.

π©Injuries are one thing but with the XI we're fielding we should be winning these games. 1 win in 9 is not only embarrassing, it's proper relegation form.

π© It's not just the Ls though, it's how we lose. City using us for some light training 3 times, clapped by Brighton, battered by Arsenal and Newcastle, outplayed by Fulham and Nottingham. Its hopeless.

π©Players aren't good enough? Come on, maybe maybe they're not top 4 material but most of them are Champions league winners with Tuchel, they're better than Brentford and Fulham.

π©Multiple quotes of people saying De Zerbi (the new Brighton manager) is an upgrade on Potter not to mention the 4-1 loss against the team he built himself

We have sacked Tuchel for this, even Lampard didn't hit these numbers.
Yes, we can't keep sacking and hiring forever but you know what's even worse than the revolving door of coaches? Blindly backing a manager who's just out of his depth.

So what should we do?
I don't think we should sack the manager just based on this, considering the list of available options isn't that appealing, he should be given until the end of the season.
But we'll need to see something soon to show us why we should risk everything backing Potter, who is unproven at this level, long-term.

Positive thing is , If Felix continues to prove everyone wrong till the end, then our first priority should be purchasing him (Atletico will demand β¬100m)
Joao and Nkunku will change our attacking drastically.

The Fulham Questions
Today am sleeping here on my bed wrecking my brain with plenty of unanswered questions. A report should come later
1. Can we ever have a defined team structure like Arsenal, Manunited, Mancity, Liverpool. Something that we can lay a foundation and build on? Or we will be just fumbling and mumbling through guess works day in day out? 4_3_3. 3_5_2. 3_4_3. 4_2_2_2. which is which
2. With even adequate personell irregardles whether we are playing portsmouth will we always be scared and always be on the defensive? Even with mbappe in the team?
3. Should we keep on lamenting about injuries even after what @poweredbyfirfir has pointed out?
4. What is the relationship between Havertz and the coach?
5. Does this guy really know what he is doing. Its been a story since the start of his era. Poor team formations and team selections, Is he on a work study in serious job?
6. All these injuries... could it be from too demanding physical training. If someone makes poor decisions during matches.. could it also be that choice of training excercise are damned. Are we having a pre season mid season?
7. Could it be the "believing in the project" hullabaloo blinding us? How many dead weight players were in that team yesterday?
8. Do we have a clause that would give us sole rights to buy Felix at the end of the season?
9. That money... where did it go?... The one we wanted to use to buy Enzo.... Where did it go? Are we planning to play azpi until when he cannot run anymore?
