He needs to put in a striker that can hold up play or fight upfront physically and technically on his own.. It can never be Havertz

Chelsea's points per game puts them on course to finish tenth and replicate the 'Mourinho season' (as Antonio Conte put it).
Graham Potter is the first Chelsea manager to lose three in a row on two separate occasions since Glenn Hoddle but he did so over a three year period between 93 and 96.
Incidentally, it is the lowest total of goals for a Chelsea team after 20 PL games since 1996.

Some people still blaming the manager again for todayβs loss. An injury to a key player and a red card to our best player, no manager itw will do better than what we are seeing with these players and injury crisis, 60% of the players arenβt good enough

2nd worst run of results in the Premier League era and people are still doing mental gymnastics for Potter. All I hear is excuses excuses excuses, its his responsibility to prove to us that he's good enough and everything we've seen so far indicates otherwise.

Lets discuss just a few of the red flags we've had under Potter.
π22
π©Kepa, Thiago, Koulibaly, Kovacic, Mount, Cucurella, Jorginho, Havertz, and probably Felix, that's 9 out of Potter's best XI available against Fulham stop with the excuses.

π©Injuries are one thing but with the XI we're fielding we should be winning these games. 1 win in 9 is not only embarrassing, it's proper relegation form.

π© It's not just the Ls though, it's how we lose. City using us for some light training 3 times, clapped by Brighton, battered by Arsenal and Newcastle, outplayed by Fulham and Nottingham. Its hopeless.

π©Players aren't good enough? Come on, maybe maybe they're not top 4 material but most of them are Champions league winners with Tuchel, they're better than Brentford and Fulham.

π©Multiple quotes of people saying De Zerbi (the new Brighton manager) is an upgrade on Potter not to mention the 4-1 loss against the team he built himself

We have sacked Tuchel for this, even Lampard didn't hit these numbers.
Yes, we can't keep sacking and hiring forever but you know what's even worse than the revolving door of coaches? Blindly backing a manager who's just out of his depth.

So what should we do?
I don't think we should sack the manager just based on this, considering the list of available options isn't that appealing, he should be given until the end of the season.
But we'll need to see something soon to show us why we should risk everything backing Potter, who is unproven at this level, long-term.
