Dynamo Moscow midfielder Arsen Zakharyan tells Common Show, "Right now I have Chelsea & I want to go to Chelsea. I know other clubs are interested in me. I am proud of that but I want to go to Chelsea. He adds that over the summer he was "stressed because I wanted this transfer"

Chelsea haven't given up on Zakharyan and are prepared to pay his release clause. But FIFA and UEFA rules, due to the war in Ukraine, prevent them from completing the signing. They can't pay a fee to a Russian club currently and getting a work permit is problematic, too.

No progress ahead of January has been made yet.
And the Football Federation of Armenia deny Zakharyan is trying to change his citizenship to help facilitate a deal. #CFC are still exploring options but there is currently no easy or viable solution to complete the transfer.

Interesting thought 👇

A few weeks ago, Napoli boss Luciano Spalletti said:

“Systems no longer exist in football, it’s all about the spaces left by the opposition. You must be quick to spot them and know the right moment to strike, have the courage to start the move even when pressed...

There are no tactical schemes anymore. The spaces are no longer between the lines but among players. The skill is in finding them.
I agree on evolution of tactical schemes but i would say the skill is in manipulating opponents to create spaces rather than simply finding the space”

Last night he spoke on socio-affective and dynamic superiorities:

“This team doesn’t have fixed positions. The chemistry between them has the capacity to fill those open spaces. When someone makes a move the whole team follows through.”

Chelsea should finally be using the gold 3rd kit tomorrow because Brighton’s home kit would be a kit clash with both our home and away kits. #CFC

Edson Alvarez on failed Chelsea move:

"As a player you're aware that this would change everything. A better league, a better life for you and your family. This is what it's all about for me. I'm here for my love for football but also for my family."

"I am very disappointed about it. But I am convinced that one day another big club will come for me. This winter, or in the summer. For now I can only focus on Ajax."

Thiago Silva 😤

2 goal line clearances in successive minutes

#INGAMEAnalysis

I even won't fully blame Thiago there..our midfielders can't contain the ball in the early minutes leading to Brighton's transitions
