The balance of that Auba-Sterling front 2 was not good.Sterling’s 1v1 play was disappointing & Auba knows the runs to make but his legs just can’t take him there.He’s now a service-reliant 9 who needs chances on a plate (which Chelsea’s attacking options can’t provide regularly).

Ultimately we wasted 30 mins with the wrong set up. Potter has to hold some for that but changed it fairly early and we controlled the game since then. But in decent positions. Couldn't fashion out a big chance. Can't stress how we need new midfielders, including a defensive one

Heartbreaking but can't complain with the draw, we were simply not good enough. Its clear more investment is needed if we're to keep competing with Europe's elite. The youth need to learn game management and how to keep the ball, it's worrying how inevitable that goal felt. We score and suddenly we forget how to string 3 passes together. Sterling, Loftus-Cheek woeful.

Still in good position to secure top 4, Kepa still in great form, on to the next!

One thing I will say about Potter is he really needs to start picking players on merit, rather than names. Number of players such as Broja and Pulisic have more than earned a run of starts recently. Need to be bold, not persist with what we know doesn’t work.
