A few thoughts:
United have blistering pace up front. Rashford and Antony are rapid. We donβt have the pace on the wings or in the middle to deal with them getting in behind. We simply cannot allow their midfielders the time or space to play their attackers through.
Man United struggle to create anything when Eriksen or Bruno are shut down all game. I think Potter knows this, so I expect to see a three man midfield, whether that means 4atb or 3-5-2. I think itβs also likely with the form Kepaβs in that he comes out moving like Prime Neuer, coming wayyy out of the box to clear through balls.
These are really the key things we need to focus on to stop United from creating chances. If we can do this, I think we come away with three points, Iβm confident in our ability to score. Havertz has to be benched for Pulisic or Sterling, we cannot afford passengers on the pitch.
Potter does have a habit of embarrassing United so Iβm more confident than I usually would be. We havenβt lost at home yet this season either, hopefully it stays that way. Hopefully the Bridge is loud tomorrow, too, the boys will need it.
Also Michael Oliver please let's have one clean game.

John Obi Mikel: "We always had a meeting with Roman. Once the team was not doing well, he came in and had a chat with us. Then he sits down, he has this guy, his friend, who sits with him β heβs the interpreter. And then he starts shouting and screaming in Russian!"
"And then the guy interprets what he said in English, and he starts screaming and then goes, 'You know what, you guys go back now and play football and start winning'."
"If weβre not winning, the next time Roman comes in, he flies in with his helicopter and comes to the training ground and thatβs it, we know the managerβs gone. Once he flies in with his helicopter, the manager is gone."

"I remember what Jose Mourinho did to Mohamed Salah, the guy was crying in the dressing room in the second half. I think he was having a bad game. And then obviously Mourinho came in and ripped into him. Massively ripped into him."

John Obi Mikel: "At Chelsea there was no place for you to be like, βI donβt wanna train todayβ. The only player I saw that did that and got away with it was Eden Hazard. Oh, he never trained."
"The worst, the most laziest football Iβve ever seen in my life. But then come the weekend, Eden Hazard produces - he was the man of the match. And he comes in with the trophy and heβs like, βcome on guys, see?β"
"I actually think when you look at Eden Hazard now, heβs lost a lot of weight. But when he was at Chelsea, the night before a game, after dinner, he sits there for like 20 minutes after, heβs eating rice puddingβ¦ he likes his food!"
"But then Eden Hazard goes to bed, wakes up in the morning and on a Saturday, 3pm, heβs there. We just let him do whatever he wants."

The balance of that Auba-Sterling front 2 was not good.Sterlingβs 1v1 play was disappointing & Auba knows the runs to make but his legs just canβt take him there.Heβs now a service-reliant 9 who needs chances on a plate (which Chelseaβs attacking options canβt provide regularly).

There are no positives to take today apart from not losing, Both teams played below standard and made the game very boring to watch, Sterling and Auba need to pattern up, terrible terrible from them two.
