What are your guys thoughts on Anthony Gordon to Chelsea?
tbh, Iβm not a fan of him, especially for that price itβs ridiculous but then again, I can see tactical options it gives Tuchel to use.

Anthony Gordon
Have really tried to avoid this analysis since its so divisive. 21 yrs of age , 4 goals, 50M. Relatively unknown.
Should we go for this boy? Is he worth the hustle?
I'd say Gordon is The complete midfielder we currently dont have. And to imagine that he is 21 and still growing is scary.
Before you guys kill me, let me explain.
Sometimes its very wrong looking at a players worth basing only on his price. Azpi price was comical but how did it turn out to be? Lakaka was astronomical and so was Morata. How did it purn out?
If you analyse Gordon based on price alone and age... you will end up damn emotional and loose the objective.
What we currently have at chelsea is a crop of midfielders with this quality but lacking the other. Kante defends well, not so well infront of goals, kovacis beats presses well inadequate defensively and attacking. Jorg same. RLC worse.
Gordon at 21 is a hybrid of almost everyrhing you'd want in a midfielder. His positioning skills, his work rate and defensive duties, ability to play in several positions including defensive wings, and the goals. Odoi for instance has 4 goals in 72 matches. Gordon has 4 in 47
What distinguishes this boy more though his his desire to win and force wins in matches. The way he runs himself to ground for the team while defending and attacking is priceless.
But a look at how he runs while attacking is something that should convince you further. His runs and not runs for the sake of running, or dribbling just for the sake of it, how he drags players out of positions he does it like a pro.
The most difficult position to play is always the central attacking midfield area more than the wings. How this boy manages to play there this confidently and expertly is unique.
50 Million?
It's us stealing from Everton and not the other way round.
Mount should be scared as this boy may end up the poster boy of Englands midfield.
But again, its just another one cent opinion on the Fireside. Time will prove us all wrong or right

Crazy Coach or Crazy fans?
Its shocking how this crazy chelsea fans would epitomise you, sing your halleluhya only to be shocked that they were only hallucinating and were just preparing your neck for the noose. The line between thick and thin in chelsea is just beyond imagination for any coach or player.
Until recently, the same base has been crying that TT having achieved miracles with an average squad, he should be given a hand in selecting his own players during purchases. Remember that Madrid game at Benerbau? What about the recent Tottenham game? They called him a maestro. Then.... then Leeds game comes and they are all running berserk.... and when they heard the guy is after Gordon, they forget the maestro, they forget the "give him his player" crap and instead ask for his head. Funny now, they say the coach must adapt.
Dont mind they are saying he should adapt to same players they called average.
But what identifies Tuchel is his work ethic and demands the same work rate from his players. TT loves to defend from the front and attack from the back. Simple. This style of play demands players with unquestionable fighting spirit. But TT also loves non egocentric players who can fight for each other and the team.
Thats why he wants Aubameyang. And thats why he wants Gordon.
But Gordon is not just any player. Gordon like Mount is a player that can adapt to any coachs style of play because of the personalities and zeal to work. Gordon would end up a serious player we will end up regretting loosing if we dont get him get now.
We should never forget The amount of changes Both Klopp and Pep did at Liverpool and City. If there is a lesson we should learn instead is being smart.
In Gallagher, Mount and Gordon, we'd have a work ethics team on steroids. Just the way TT wants it.
2 years down the line, with or without Tuchel, with or without Chelsea and with emotions aside, truth be told Gordon will be Star of a player. But understanding how Tuchel wants to play, under him he will be a superstar
Just a one cent opinion.

We play extremely well against the big guns but baffle when it comes to the rest of the 16 teams
We play better in cup competitions than in a long run 38 league games
Our mentality is different when we are the underdogs
This is one main factor and starting point of our problems. The question is ,why though?
