Tuchel’s hybrid 4-2-2-2/ 3-4-3 overloaded Conte’s midfield two. Conte then mirrored Tuchel’s on-ball shape with 4-4-2 & created the same midfield overloads that Chelsea caused them. Then Tuchel flipped to a standard 3-4-3 to bring more width vs Spurs’ back 4.Unreal tactical battle.

The system & performance was immense. After this match, I’m looking forward to this season with a couple more additions.

Oh and here’s Mendy having to look round an offside Richarlison for Spurs’ first goal. Other than that, thought the officials had a great game. (Sarcastically)👍

One source says they have already made a £40m bid.

Chelsea fans should respect this man, he spent less than 200M in 3 seasons now....Give him his players and see how Chelsea will play

Couldn't agree less

Don’t know but i feel this was a loss, Brilliant game by all players, Great tactical approach from Tuchel, but we should’ve won the game before the 80th min. RLC my Man of the Match.💙

What a manager man, hope he stays for as long as he can. Corruption aside, I really enjoyed this game. Great tactics, great performance from both the team and most players, and the vibes/drama were insane.

All that lacked was the 3 points we fully deserved, but we move.

Real ones never gave up on RLC. 💎

What a player. So unique. 💫 Offers depth 👌

The question is, can Chelsea play this fluid formation every week please or it's only against Tottenham?

Thank you.

A new online petition by Chelsea fans calling for Anthony Taylor to be banned from refereeing their matches was set up an hour ago. It almost has 10,000 signatures already.
