Tuchel’s hybrid 4-2-2-2/ 3-4-3 overloaded Conte’s midfield two. Conte then mirrored Tuchel’s on-ball shape with 4-4-2 & created the same midfield overloads that Chelsea caused them. Then Tuchel flipped to a standard 3-4-3 to bring more width vs Spurs’ back 4.Unreal tactical battle.

The system & performance was immense. After this match, I’m looking forward to this season with a couple more additions.

Oh and here’s Mendy having to look round an offside Richarlison for Spurs’ first goal. Other than that, thought the officials had a great game. (Sarcastically)👍
