Fofana 80M !, De ligt 81M ! Hit or Shit?
The player currently being linked to chelsea to bolster the defence is Wesley Fofana. But whats been raising alarm is the potential transfer fee of 80M involved.
This is in consideration of the fact that another famous player De Ligt was going for almost the same amount at 83M. So would it be a hit or a miss if the transfer goes through?
Both the two players are known in their abilities to read the game as well as their abilities in ball playing.
For 83M, his fans would tell you that De ligt offers the known. Yet his times at Juventus weren't as remarkable and him not as indispenseble. Factual or Hype Jury is tough to call. Sometimes his lapses in concentration and propensity to over confidence works against his hype as a top player.
But just on his attributes alone, Fofana is smart and intelligent, Fast, Super aggresive and midlevel ball playing ratings. A back three of Him, Koulibaly and Silva could be virtually unpenetratable. This is without forgetting Cucu and Reece on the wings
Leicesters sometimes deployed 3-4-3 and this would help also with his adaptability in the chelsea system.
While Fofana is not as hyped as De Ligt, he compensates with an invaluable Epl experience. He is physically sound and aggresive enough to have shone in the Epl already. He is 21 years and fighting spirit dwelling in his bossom.
As crazy as it may sound, I'd take Fofana over De ligt any day any time.
