Sterling easily unlocked Everton's stiff defensive structure with his runs and trickery on the ball but somehow Mount and Havertz fail to do this to an opposition team with the same structure .

Even last season we struggled to find solutions to a team with a low -block structure, unless one of Kovacic/J5 comes up with an excellent pass
Can vividly see why Tuchel wanted Raphinha and Sterling so much 👍

A one cent opinion

Chelsea will receive around €30M for Timo Werner from RB Leipzig. He will sign on a permanent deal.

Last time City signed a Dortumund player (Gundogan 16/17), City & Chelsea scored a penalty on the opening day & Chelsea went on to win the league.

City just signed a Dortmund player (Haaland) & both Chelsea & City scored a penalty on the opening day…

🗣Xavi on Chelsea-linked Frenkie De Jong:

"I don't know what will happen to Frenkie de Jong. Until August 31st anything can happen. He knows what I think and what the club want and need. Of course I'm counting on him, he's a great player."

🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Barcelona told Frenkie de Jong on July 15 they have evidence of criminality around his contract given by the old board. Barcelona have threatened legal action against him and all involved. Barcelona have asked him to annul his deal & revert to previous terms.

Let talk about TUCHEL’S Chelsea attack 😁

ℹ️ @ChelseaAnalysis

Last season we were second with most big chances created and you think TT’s system is poor. So TT has to teach player how to tap in balls or when to make pass?

These are just the basics of football. If another coach should come, we will still have the same problem.

Poor finishing.

People complaining about our midfielders passing to the wing backs or wingers, man city and Liverpool are also playing in the same way....

Trent Alexander-Arnold is having more than 18 assist per season, how can that happen if Liverpool players are not playing through the wing....Tuchel won't kill the players if they try to make long pass....it is down to the players...

ℹ️@ChelseaAnalysis

Tuchel’s work is to give you instructions on how to escape dangers, he can't build a mansion in their mind to tell them time to make passes or time to score,

ℹ️ @ChelseaAnalysis

You can say TUCHEL is the problem, until you chase him away and realize his usefulness. Tuchel outplayed most of the best coaches in the world with average players, Respect this man..No manager will do well with these players...Conte won't coach this Chelsea team because he will keep fighting the board for new players., but you keep asking Tuchel to leave... This man is here to stay.

Good decision making👍
This is not about tactics, but ability of player to make decision quickly ...
Scoring goals or assisting is not about tactics but players IQ

🚨 Chelsea are ready to pay whatever it takes to sign Frenkie De Jong.

Barcelona have agreed a transfer fee of less than €80M for Bernardo Silva.

Joan Laporta wants both Frenkie De Jong (with reduced salary) & Bernardo Silva in the squad next season.

Inter Milan are expected to accept a fee of £12M for Chelsea target Cesare Casadei.

Only 3 Chelsea players - Thiago Silva, N'Golo Kante and Jorginho - have made more interceptions than Wesley Fofana (17) in the Premier League in 2022

🤯 Fofana has only made 𝟴 appearances this year...
