47% - Chelsea keeper Γdouard Mendy has kept a clean sheet in 47% of his Premier League starts (31/66) β only Ederson (50%) has a higher clean sheet ratio among keepers to have started at least 50 games. Safe.

Thereβs still something missing in that Chelsea front 3 & itβs not just a pure poacher. Sterling is being used in a free role asking for the ball-to-feet. He needs another player to combine with in those tighter spaces. Whilst one of Mount/Havertz attack space. That man might be Depay.

Thomas Tuchel on Chelsea defence:
"All three of our players in the back three are in their thirties and we struggled a bit in general at the end of the game. We need to improve our physical level and we are on it."
"Thiago [Silva] is a key player in the middle of the defence right now, but we need to move more on the ball, to invest more with runs."

Thomas Tuchel on Chelsea performance vs Everton:
"It was maybe not the most exciting Premier League game. Seven minutes of extra time in the first half, 10 minutes in the second half tells the story. Lots of interruptions and no team could find the rhythm."
"We struggled with the moments, to feel the moments, for the change of speed and switch of play. We didn't maybe want to take the risk in the final 25 metres."
"We didn't have enough movement on the ball in the second half and that didn't create enough ball losses. The ball was stuck between the halves."

Thomas Tuchel on Chelsea ambitions:
"I'm not sure it's why I don't want to put pressure on us or lower expectations. We should dig in, stay quiet, be humble. The next week has one headline, Tottenham."
"I think if we can add to the squad we add. Midfielders maybe not the first option but we can use new legs and fresh input to bring us to a new level. If not, we will push. We could use some input and more quality. We are on it."
Thomas Tuchel on new signings:
"Koulibaly came late and struggled. Raheem struggled physically at the end. Cucurella was very strong for 20 minutes. Koulibaly came off with just cramp."
"We are not on the highest level. Players came in late. Pre-season was turbulent. We had high training last week. We had not enough movement on the ball, more ball losses. Strange second half. 10 minutes extra time in the end, strange."
"We hang in and kept a clean sheet so from here we go."
