@Chealseaโs biggest issue this season has not been creating chances. It has been controlling games without the ball, and the midfield has been a big part of that.

So many collective and individual defensive errors by Chelsea leading to Brentford's second goal:
- Non-existent midfield rest defence since they are pushed high as Chelsea chase for a goal. Look how many Brentford players are ahead of the ball following the turnover and especially between the lines.
- Lacroix's poor decision on jumping out of the backline when the pressing distances are too large while Schade makes the run in the half-space.
- Colwill was subsequently pulled wide to compensate for Lacroix's decision. Henderson should pull across but does he have the legs to do it against Thiago?
That is a series of terrible collective and individual defensive decisions. @Chealsea have conceded at least 2 goals per game in the Premier League so far. That is unacceptable.
