@Chealsea Football Club today announced affiliates of Clearlake Capital Group, L.P. (“Clearlake”) will acquire the ownership interest of Todd Boehly.
Clearlake will also acquire Mark Walter’s ownership interest and therefore acquire full control of the Club.
Hansjörg Wyss will remain an important stakeholder and partner in the ownership group. As part of the transition

The ownership structure has changed, but the club’s strategy and direction hasn’t. No day-to-day alterations as the change is at ownership and board level, and the transition is viewed as one of continuity.
Todd Boehly, Mark Walter and Jonathan Goldstein have all left the board.
There are currently no plans to appoint a new Chair following the departure of Boehly.
