It's good to be mentally prepared with that decimated squad so that in case shit hits the fan (most probably), you don't blame the Rosenior guy.

Forget that shitty goal and the at times shaky build ups. I like what I have seen so far.
The control, the dynamism in midfield, the controlled acceleration, the tried attacking penetrations, we've been good.
Right trajectory so far

The build-up play has been brave and impressive , you can see the manager wants us to take risks.
But in the final third? Everything fades. No conviction, no killer edge.
Arsenal look very average, yet here we are chasing the game. Set-piece kings doing the damage again.

It's a shame that Sanchez has to always struggle at the start of every new coaching regime.

We have not been overpowered in any way or any department or any part of the field or match.
Just a few errors and we are behind.
A lot of positives in my one cent opinion.

This game reminds me of the Bayern game. It actually hurts that errors have downplayed our performance.

โOne goal deficit.
โ Second leg to play for.
โ Lots of positives today
โ Recovery time for better injured players
IT'S STILL ON.
Hopefully better days ahead.

Listen, it's really difficult to see positives after a painful loss like today.
Those who have been here for long know I never make emotional judgements. I call shit as shitty as it is and light as sunny as it is.
Even when everyone was celebrating the likes of Westham wins, I warned our play was unsupportive of sustainable win. It came to pass.
But I have seen plenty of positives today to be hopeful. In so many things and so many ways that I'll hopefully do an extensive analysis later if possible
If we can be consistent with what I have seen today, better days are coming.
....And coming soon.

Anytime i look at the Chelsea squad after all these years and the money spent and how many managers have come and gone i get sad, like i mean how are we back to square one again? How can people be positive when thereโs no consistency and quality when i see my club? Arenโt you guys tired of the same sh*t every season? Is there evidence things will get better? so many questions on my mind

Maresca out.
Sporting directors: โWe must urgently sign a CB.โ
Apparently defensive awareness loads after a managerial departure.

Cut your emotions
I admired Maresca. I genuinely appreciated his tactical intelligence, especially how he set up against big teams.
What I struggled with, however, was his inflexibility and stubbornness.
This club has a long history of elite managers being sackedโacross both the Roman and Clearlake eras. Mourinho. Ancelotti. Conte. Just to mention a few. Many of them were dismissed while still at or near their peak.
More recently, Tuchel suffered the same fate under the current regime. People said we were finished after Tuchel. Yet we went on to win the Club World Cup and the Conference League under the very manager who was once the most criticized and is now being retroactively baptized by the same voices that couldnโt wait to see him gone.
Like I always say, we understand very little of what truly goes on behind the scenes. But one thing is constant: nobody is bigger than the club.
Some of us were frustrated with Marescaโs stubborn tactics, but we still supported him. Support does not mean blind loyalty.
So now weโre expected not to support Rosenior simply because some of you are too emotional to move on? No. We will support him. And when the time comes to call him out, we will do so openly, confidently, and aggressively.
Your emotional hangover from Marescaโs sacking is not our problem, and weโre not obligated to validate your bitterness to prove loyalty.
Itโs not that people didnโt see the positives in the Arsenal game. They did. They just chose to ignore them and cling to resentment over Marescaโs exit; others are paralysed by fear of failure. Fear masquerading as wisdom and loyalty
Weโve moved on from excellent managers beforeโand we still thrived.
Rosenior deserves a shot and support. And when time comes to move from him, The People Shall.
