That felt like two equal teams with no clear plan. Neither could defend properly, neither could score convincingly, and neither could dominate the ball. The real concern is Chelsea - how have we fallen to the point where we’re being measured against Bournemouth? Same level, same problems, same uninspiring football.

Why did we ditch the long throw-ins routine in the first place?

I'd like to talk to the person who scrapped out the trick we had for long throws. We needed it the most today.

Losing Colwill did more damage than we can fathom. And the SDs thought we had enough when Maresca argued.

Someone like Hincapie on loan would have earned us extra 9 points. At the end, that extra points could worth more than the loan fee.

We made poor decisions last summer. We are now paying the price. I will blame the SDs before Maresca. Give the manager what he asks for, if he doesn’t perform, then we will come for his head. At the moment, he's working overtime.

The fan base toxic levels are already high. Combined with the weak sporting directors looking for scapegoats, Maresca must do everything possible to prevent a total tilt.

Our fan base lives a very thin line between "Out" and "In". It shifts faster than getting a woman's pants off.

And possible trigger? Estevao.

The majority of the base is already frustrated with the constant line up chops, weak fielding and misprofilings.

It would be inexplicable to some of them why he should be dropped for constantly underperforming Garnacho and Gittens yet he is majorly a constant spark when fielded.

He should be aware of the complexity of the toxicity with this emotional base.

Forever team Maresca, he was never the problem.

• The real accountability lies with Chelsea’s sporting directors. The way the club is being run above him is deeply disappointing. From ownership to sporting directors constantly intruding into Maresca’s coaching space, he’s never been given breathing room or the backing he actually needs.

• It’s an unsustainable environment for any manager in the long term. If Chelsea are serious about progress, their approach at the top has to change and fast.

And yes, like any manager, he has his flaws.He rotates the squad a lot, but does he really have another option? No. You can’t keep running fringe players into the ground every three days and expect consistency. The circumstances force his hand more than people want to admit.

• And let’s be honest: with Man City waiting, Pep won’t hesitate to recommend Maresca as his successor. He’ll see exactly what’s happening a talented coach overpressured by owners and directors who demand too much while giving too little.

Yeah, those “worst 48 hours” comments hit deep you could tell it rattled a few babies.
And that’s the funniest (and saddest) part: it’s not even about results anymore. It’s about manufacturing a narrative. Paint Maresca as the problem, pile on the pressure, then act shocked when you sack him. Same old Chelsea script, new character.

• At this point, I wouldn’t even be surprised if he mentally checks out and lets it burn faster, not out of spite, but because why fight a system that’s clearly working against you? Man City calling, Pep watching, and suddenly the noise from Stamford Bridge doesn’t sound worth surviving.

✓ You asked for different midfield attributes in the transfer market to address your major issue but they chose to overcrowd a position you are not interested in with two expensive weak players instead

✓ Your best CB injured Early in the transfer window but they ignore your pleas and ask you to go with your weakest option of them all

✓ They do away with your 9 and weaken the position further with two equally clumsy and weak forwards

✓ They hire a dead ball specialist coach you didn't ask for and you still concede stupid silly amature level goals

But at the end you have to issue a press conference on why your team is not working?

Sometimes I am frustrated with Maresca stubbornness with his tactical beliefs but sporting Directors bullshit should also not be entertained.

Now watch the media play their role conveniently highlighting Maresca’s “weaknesses” as the main justification for his sacking.

It’s an obvious pattern: narratives pushed by voices closely aligned with the club, shaping public opinion to make ownership look justified when the trigger is finally pulled. Suddenly everything is Maresca’s fault, while the structural mess above him is quietly ignored.

It’s not analysis, it’s positioning. Control the story first, then execute the decision later.
