Cole palmer 🗣️ “People call me a Champions League winner, but I don’t really feel like one because I don’t think I contributed much to Manchester City’s triumph. My hope is to play a big role in helping Chelsea win the Champions League that’s when I’ll truly feel like a winner.”

Surely the journey begins tomorrow💙🏆

📊 Trevoh Chalobah is the highest-rated CB in the Premier League this season (7.65).

Is Trev our most consistent defender at the moment?🤔💭

Bayern Munich are unbeaten in their last 8 games.

Chelsea are unbeaten in their last 11 games.

Clash of two giants.

Can anybody accurately predict the reaction of the fanbase if we were to lose against Bayern?

We’ll come back to this post after the game tomorrow

Within our fanbase, there are always different groups. Some never rate certain players — Enzo gets constant criticism, Chalobah rarely gets respect.

Others think Fofana is our best centre-back in 2025. Some don’t give new players like Gittens or Garnacho any time, dragging them straight away. Even if they make mistakes, can’t we just discuss it, move on, and shield them a little? Then there are the Lavia fanboys too.

The bigger issue is we often treat our own players the way rival fans would, but still expect respect from outsiders. At the same time, we overpraise players from other clubs while undervaluing ours. The reality is, no one will hype Chelsea players more than Chelsea fans. If we want them to get recognition, it has to start with us.

🗣 Vincent Kompany: "I've already watched probably 40 games of Chelsea last season. They're an interesting team to observe.

But I don't think there's a lot of mystery around them, and I know the coach very well. I'll quickly see tomorrow whether we've done our homework."

📊 Reece James (30) has played more career Champions League games than any other current Chelsea player, followed by Jamie Gittens (23).

📊 If selected [against Bayern Munich], Cole Palmer will make his 100th appearance for Chelsea across all competitions. He scored his 44th goal for the club at Brentford on Saturday.

Can we beat Bayern?

Definitely

The good thing with playing them is their reckless attacking football which is both their strength and their weakness.

But..... They have pace and technique upfront and so....

We will have two options.

Play Tosin and revert to the slightly deep backline or drop him for Fofana and play the slightly more aggressive.

With Estevao back, with Palmer, him, Neto and I believe Garnacho too, we have the attacking personnel to seriously hurt their adventurous style of play.

What will kill them, just like PSG, will be their over confidence.

Not Chelsea related but Greenwood is a very very good player. Left football for two years and he’s still better than most of our attackers. Decision making, technical ability, dribbling, shooting he has it all

🚨 JUST IN: This past weekend, Alejandro Garnacho had a private call with Lionel Scaloni.

Garnacho asked the coach: “Is there room for me?” - referring to a potential World Cup spot if he manages to earn valuable minutes at Chelsea.

Lionel Scaloni’s response: "Yes, but keep in mind you’re starting from behind. You’ll have to prove a lot to return to the National Team.”
