Robert Sánchez ended the season with the highest save percentage in the Premier League (73.6%)… 🧤

Potter: The boys gave everything 😂😂

On this day: 2017 - Diego Costa scored in his last Chelsea appearance.

How would you rate his Chelsea career out of 10?

Games - 120
Goals - 59

‼️ Hugo Ekitiké scored 15 league goals this season from an xG of 22.55, the biggest xG underperformance in the Bundesliga (-7.55).

Chelsea have;

Liam Delap
Benjamin Sesko
Hugo Ekitike
Viktor Gyökeres

...on their shortlist for a new number nine. They want to move quickly to secure a new striker.

Whatever the case, whatever the reason, it would be utter nonsense to buy that Ekitike for anything above 25M when Gyokeres goes for around 65M.

If you watch the clips of goals he has scored, you may be tempted to believe he is a superb striker. If you do a complete analysis of him however, you get a different story

The truth is, Save for the shot trials outside the box and trials in aerial balls He is in no way a Jacksons upgrade in terms of finishing

We already have Marc in our books so the idea of going for another expensive potential makes 0 sense.

These are not UCL level strikers except Gyökeres. The rest are very very average strikers. What have we done to deserve this. And Emegha is also joining in 2026?
