Battle of The Victors: Gyokeres Or Osimhen

We definitely MUST get a top striker.

When it comes to poaching abilities, the two Victors are definitely amongst the best. These are their numbers this season.

Osimhen =33 goals+ 5 assists
Gyokeres= 47 goals+11 assists

For Club and country

Scoring is not the issue of the two. Little details will however give the edge. I must say that previously I had wanted Osimhen but I feel these factors should give Gyokeres an edge.

Finances

✓Gyokeres Earns 46,000-50,000 per week. It's easy to do abnormal increments without messing up the pay structure. Osimhen is already at 290,000. Can accept to lower his wages?

✓ Rumoured acceptable fees for osimhen is $80M . For Gyokeres $65-75M

Sport wise- The most Crucial

✓ Gyokere's ability to force through a sea of defenders when tightly marked is his biggest asset. The man can be marked by 5 defenders but still force through with sheer physical strength and determination of a bull in the same way if not better than our legend Diego Costa. In a compact league where teams play with low blocks, this should be an asset compared to Osimhen who prefers spaces and channels to run into.

X - Osimhens aerial abilities are miles better than Gyokeres. Gyokeres however isn't shy of aerial fights. He is better than Jackson and Nkunku on this. He would be an upgrade.

X- Hassan Centikaya, Gyokeres agent is a close personal friend of Mikel Arteta. Arsenal also have an interest in Gyokeres. Terrible news. With Osimhen, His relationship with Mikel could be vital to us securing him

Chelsea haven’t used any players older than 27 in any of their 34 Premier League games this season. That smashes the old record of six games, set by Liverpool back in 1999-2000.

Even though Adarabioyo isn’t a regular starter under Maresca, people at the club say he’s hugely important behind the scenes.

In Chelsea’s 1-0 win over Everton on Saturday, while play was paused due to an injury, Adarabioyo was the only substitute standing and giving advice—especially to Noni Madueke.

Chelsea are planning to make changes to their defence this summer, but Adarabioyo isn’t someone they’re looking to sell. That doesn’t mean he’ll definitely stay—another club could still make an offer—but Chelsea aren’t trying to move him on.

Maresca surprised some people recently by saying he wants more experience in the squad, even though he knew Chelsea were building around young players. Adarabioyo may not wear the captain’s armband, but he acts like a leader anyway.
