Battle of The Victors: Gyokeres Or Osimhen
We want a top striker.
We definitely MUST get a top striker.
When it comes to poaching abilities, the two Victors are definitely amongst the best. These are their numbers this season.
Osimhen =33 goals+ 5 assists
Gyokeres= 47 goals+11 assists
For Club and country
Scoring is not the issue of the two. Little details will however give the edge. I must say that previously I had wanted Osimhen but I feel these factors should give Gyokeres an edge.
Finances
βGyokeres Earns 46,000-50,000 per week. It's easy to do abnormal increments without messing up the pay structure. Osimhen is already at 290,000. Can accept to lower his wages?
β Rumoured acceptable fees for osimhen is $80M . For Gyokeres $65-75M
Sport wise- The most Crucial
β Gyokere's ability to force through a sea of defenders when tightly marked is his biggest asset. The man can be marked by 5 defenders but still force through with sheer physical strength and determination of a bull in the same way if not better than our legend Diego Costa. In a compact league where teams play with low blocks, this should be an asset compared to Osimhen who prefers spaces and channels to run into.
X - Osimhens aerial abilities are miles better than Gyokeres. Gyokeres however isn't shy of aerial fights. He is better than Jackson and Nkunku on this. He would be an upgrade.
Relations
β There is an already established between Chelsea and Sporting, we definitely should
X- Hassan Centikaya, Gyokeres agent is a close personal friend of Mikel Arteta. Arsenal also have an interest in Gyokeres. Terrible news. With Osimhen, His relationship with Mikel could be vital to us securing him

If we want to compete next season in the UCL we need quality wingers. None of that Garnacho nonsense. Good wingers will bail you out if your striker is off. Our priority is a CF and the next must buy must be a quality winger that doesnβt need time and would hit the ground running. If we mess up this summer itβs done for good

Chelsea havenβt used any players older than 27 in any of their 34 Premier League games this season. That smashes the old record of six games, set by Liverpool back in 1999-2000.
Even though Adarabioyo isnβt a regular starter under Maresca, people at the club say heβs hugely important behind the scenes.
In Chelseaβs 1-0 win over Everton on Saturday, while play was paused due to an injury, Adarabioyo was the only substitute standing and giving adviceβespecially to Noni Madueke.
Chelsea are planning to make changes to their defence this summer, but Adarabioyo isnβt someone theyβre looking to sell. That doesnβt mean heβll definitely stayβanother club could still make an offerβbut Chelsea arenβt trying to move him on.
Maresca surprised some people recently by saying he wants more experience in the squad, even though he knew Chelsea were building around young players. Adarabioyo may not wear the captainβs armband, but he acts like a leader anyway.
