Absolutely appalling. Maresca/Clearlake defenders cannot have any more excuses. Effectively our strongest side minus Caicedo and we lost to Legia at home.
The standards in the bin.
Sack the directors first so they can't hire another manager

I think we have serious mentality issues at the club at the moment. The players don't have consistency in terms of workrate and performance.
There seem to be cliques and egos in the squad. Inconsistent performances mostly come from the players.
It's not just about being young but your mentality. This team lacks leaders. We need to inject big dressing room personalities. Players who have won and performed consistently at the highest level.
That's how to correct this. It could linger even if they are mature if we don't do something to change that mentality.
I would take Osimhen as striker and De Bruyne, who is a free agent. And an experienced CB who is a leader. That will improve the core. It's about setting examples what it takes to be consistent for a season and win. They need players who will lead by example on how to behave, take care of their health, train, and be ready for games.
We need to SOLVE this badly.

People misunderstand possession-based managers as being possession crazy but every possession-based manager also wants to progress the ball and find the spare man as soon as possible. That's the end game.
The problem is that not every player can execute passes through tight spaces. So, average players tend to rather circulate the ball forever instead of making a pass that will be turned over.
If you watch Barcelona, for example, the number of risky, vertical passes Pedri and De Jong make to find the spare man is ridiculously high. Vitinha and Neves do the same for PSG.
But if you have average passers in the pivot, they will circulate the ball forever, freaking out the manager on the bench.
Lavia's absence is immense.

Naah... i think the majority of the season ticket holders are old folks... zero energy and passion from them except when there's a goal ofcos. Quiet Ninety percent of the time.
The away fans are much better.
