Until now, this is the worst game I have seen under Maresca

The problem is not the result
The problem is if these set of players would be able to bounce back after their good run of results have been altered.

I don’t want us to be at the top now tbh. No need for that sort of pressure and hype from the media. It’s still a work in progress.

I would like Enzo Maresca to be questioned about why João Félix didn’t make an appearance against Everton

When Palmer doesn’t play well. Maresca is too stubborn to take him off. There are players who might suit this game better. I said this before. He feels too big he knows when he doesn’t even play well he’d be on the pitch for the whole game

I still think we need that Box dominant striker at this club. Guiu is young and he can’t handle the pressure this early. Nkunku isn’t even a CF to begin with. Jackson would have some quiet games too this is the time to get that striker so we don’t crumble when the season progresses further

Everton's choice of fielding Mangala, Doucoure and Gueye was tantamount to fielding Caicedo, Rice and Kante in one line up. A steel three man defensive midfield line and a desperate tactical maneuver to kill game flow.

It was a certain reality check to those of us that were thinking Maresca was all but doing pressure control with the "We are not ready" stuff.

To be tittle contenders, we have to learn to ride above the dark arts.
