How the hell has Sanchez become an actual ball playing goal keeper overnight. Looks too comfortable on the ball.

Caicedo was targeted in the build up against Wolves. Today, he's progressing the ball as part of the back 3 and it's working so far.

It gets him ready for counter press when the buildup breaks down. Also, Enzo and Palmer receiving is a lot better.

The first player in Europe's top five leagues with 15 assists since the start of last season:

Mikel is the target. Lol

Three noticeable growth from the second half at wolves to this games first half

-How we are covering their transitions

- How the wingers occupy half spaces when defending, helping Cucu invert successfully

- The confidence our players have when carrying the ball, a key ingredient for success of Maresca system

Poor build up structure made him look poor last season. It’s obvious we are much better with the ball now compared to last season.

In the first half

Chances created:
3 — Cole Palmer
2 — Crystal Palace

Shots on target:
2 — Nico Jackson
1 — Crystal Palace

Shots:
3 — Noni Madueke
3 — Crystal Palace

Interceptions:
3 — Moisés Caicedo
0 — Crystal Palace

Is it only me or Stamford Bridge videography and camera angles are very poor. The display is very close to the players which makes the pitch look very small. The stadium resembles that of a championship club.

You can't compare this to our london rivals Arsenal and Tottenham... We need the Stadium project to start now !!! Not in 10yrs time.

Eze just makes everything look so easy at times.

What a menace of a player!
No one stops that with such accuracy.

Why were we not playing with the same urgency when we were 1-0 up?

Chelsea created more xG in their 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace (2.42) than in their 6-2 win against Wolves (1.65).

Hopefully Gusto’s injury ain’t serious

So the overreaction from a certain part of the fanbase is this?

From a certain part of the fanbase.

Chelsea very pleased with Levi Colwill's start to season. Goal today stemmed from his interception. Can’t name them, but know Chelsea turned down approach from big club for 21 year old academy graduate earlier in summer. Hopefully stays healthy for 2024-25
