Olofinjana is also the executive director of Nigerian 3rd division side Imperial FC which is located near his home city of Lagos

After retiring in 2014, Olofinjana worked in under-23 coaching and development at Wolves including a role as loans and pathways manager.

He then spent a year as Sporting Director at Grasshoppers Zurich in Switzerland until 2022.

🚨 Enzo Maresca was looking for a profile, a left sided defender who could invert into defensive midfield when Chelsea are on the ball - Veiga does that, and Cucurella is viewed as also capable.

If they bought him for inversion,
Then his physical attributes would give him a slight upper hand against Cucu.
He covers a lot of ground so tracking back faster and being aggressive won’t be a major problem plus the height advantage too.
