Always good communication skills. When would a player ever credit Poch for his tactics?
Training in small-sided games makes you appreciate larger spaces in actual games.
Watching this incredible video on Tuchel and how he used to cut off the edges of his training pitch to discourage long balls and familiarise his players with control.
Take away something that's appreciated when it comes to the reality of the game.

Neville on Jackson: βMight be an unpopular opinion on here but I think that player, I like him. I think heβs got a lot to give, heβs a young player and I think that heβs not cost stupid money. Itβs his first full season in the Premier League, heβs scored quite a few goals and he keeps going and thereβs a lot to be said for that.
And he might not be striker number one but if he was your striker number two or three in a squad of 18 to 20 youβd say Iβll take that.β [sky] #cfc

Gary Neville on whether Pochettino deserves more time: βDefinitely. I think heβs absolutely the right man to work with young players, weβve seen what he did at Southampton bringing young players through.β [Gary Neville Podcast- sky] #cfc

I love and miss Tuchel but this just seems like d*ck riding to me. He is talking about making his players more CREATIVE in outer conditions. It made chillwell and james look so good but that was all the team was about. All the attackers were blunt and the whole world realized that it was easy to stop chelsea by limiting the creativity of his wing backs. Jorginho became a scapegoat because he did all the diagonal passing but no goals and hardly much assists. And even when tuchel left thats all he knows now.
So whats the point?
Every coach has a process they feel can take them to the top. But they dont need to deliver a lecture to prove it. Pep has his process but he attributes his success to the players. His job is to motivate the players each game to keep pushing and thrive in his dynamic system. City dont even have a pattern of play. They play players in wrong positions, very very dynamic. But if its chelsea the whole fan base woukd come for the coaches head. We lack trust in managers. Its just a toxic relationship. The same tuchel we didnt appreciate when he was around. Poch has come into very tough conditions. The whole team is new but if we play bad its the coach. Sometimes its when we criticize the line ups that we play good. When we play good it makes us believe more in the βplayersβ and not the coach. But during the last game i clearly saw a very good build up process in the second half. The players started pushing like crazy. So why dont they fight like this everyday? The whole team is learning. After last season some of these players, were heavily criticizzed because they played rubbish. It affects confidence and we need a coach who can build that confidence. We just need some experience to manage games.

Neville on 8 year contracts: βTheyβre not good for a young playerβ¦You think youβve got a 8 year contract as a young 21/22 year old, the club might think theyβve got security over you but the young player makes βIβm rich. I genuinely am richβ and for some thatβs a problem.β [sky]

Jeremy Boga when asked if he would like to return to Chelsea:
"You never close the door, but I've just arrived at Nice, I've signed a long contract and I'm focused on Nice. But you never know what might happen in the future."

I honestly feel like if we even want to criticize anything its the project itself. Pep has never coached a bunch of kids and he always goes to teams that he can control how much mistakes the players make. But some say he is the greatest of all time. He keeps experience and buys more experience, trashes inconsistency and lets go of those who dont trust his system.
This whole project to me is an experiment and we are even lucky to have someone volunteer to spear head something that has never been done in the history of football. Most coaches would decline this job because its bot a stable project. But poch is here because he is not your regular coach. He believes he can push plqyers beyond boundaries. I dont know if thats the best for the tean yet but if we sack poch then lets change the whole project, but if this process works tgen we woukd dominate football for a very very long time.

This personifies Thiago Silva. 37 years old, in a final, so far back that most people would just jog back, but he sprints past everyone and clears the ball off the line.
