Yes its only pre season but here is the card

-Gusto is the new beast
If Reece gets injured this season. There will be less worry. Gusto looks made for epl battles

_Sterling Troubles
The man has plenty of work to do with his technical skills. If this play reflects how he will be in the new season, then we should perhaps start sweet talking some Saudi guys this early.

-The pressing
Has greatly improved. A 100% better than last season but way off the required standards especially our second moves anticipation is still poor. We are also Still struggling with confidence and technique playing from the back.

-Maatsen
May be good with pressing from front but going forward his technique looks rugged.

-Jackson
The man is not Havertz. He can hold, he presses and he bangs goals. Our fast paced forwards will have a field day with his holding and ball relaying abilities.

-Gallagher
As have always pointed out, Gallagher's position is the hole. Anticipate tackles well, was aggressive but still issues with his control and movement skills. This area needs strengthening without doubt. We just can't afford to depend on him there as the first option this season.

-Silva and Colwill
The partnership worked well and composed. Something tells me this is will be the pair for next season.

-The Kids
Humphrey needs to go on loan. Still struggles with positioning. Casadei would struggle without a real defensive midfielder besides him. His pace and aggresion had issues. He can however be played as Enzos substitute. Andre was also average and made some encouraging tackles. Hall looked like the master he already is.

Mudryk
The man looks like the Mudryk we wanted.


The team struggled with Brighton's  field stretching techniques around our box. Plenty of the times we failed to track their shadow attackers. But this was miles way better than the shitty team we had last season considering that brighton played most of their core attacking players. The new season looks promising.

Last pre season, Arsenal thumped us 4-0. Besides the embarrassing score, we played one useless match that highlighted what the season was going to be. And yes, the shambolic display lived through the rest of the shameful season.

Yesterday,.....yesterday things were different. You could see patterns of play in attack. You could see desire and ideas to defend. You could see the desire to fight. And you could see a tactical plan... But most importantly you could feel togetherness in the team. You could see their happy faces... If I were any of of the EPL top clubs, I'd be concerned with what I saw. Considering that its only three weeks of Pochs work and with a chelsea side with no European football  distraction, things could just get messy for all of them.

If not everyone, then almost everyone had a foot right. But I will have a special mention for Gusto, Nkunku and Jackson. Any of these three could have easily been man of the match

Jackson, will make our attacking players behind him flourish. His brain to hold is equal to Lukaku. But what makes him special is he has intelligence to lay and create. How he plays on the shoulders of the defenders is also special. That man, that man looks like a proper striker. How he drops deep, how he presses, his ball controlling, its just hard to see how he will flop. How he fed on that immaculate Cucu pass is how he will be feeding from Enzo.

Nkunku movement is perhaps the best of our attacking players. Imagining Nkunku behind and close to Jackson is mouth watering. Intelligence, flair, pace and aggression.

Gusto.. James must have been watching smiling.. the man looks like his complete replica.. his pressing, positioning, tackling, marking, aggression.. For once we can say we have James able deputy.. next time I would love to see how he can deal with the crazy Mudryk run we saw yesterday.. but we may never... EPL has only one Mudryk and he is at chelsea

The kids played like men with 40children. To imagine that Hall, Angelo and Santos are 18, Chukuemeka 19, Casadei, Gusto and Colwill all 20 and Noni 21 is just terrifying. Mudryk, Benoit and Enzo at 22 you would be tempted to think they are in their 30's with how they play. When the Oldman Silva himself retires, The oldman Reece to take over is only 23👌....

Its too early to judge but its never wrong to be optimistic. We may not win the league, We may falter in some crucial games next season, but soon, soon rather than later we will be there.

That return pass from Maatsen is actually underrated... so quick and precise...not all players will do such a thing , most would hold the ball and try to turn ... I’m not mentioning a name but an example is a roadrunner in the squad 🫢
