Pochettino : “Again we're going to have the debate whether a trophy will take the club to the next level. I don't agree with it. It only builds your ego. The most important thing for Tottenham right now is to always be in the top four”

🚨🔵 Both Luis Enrique & Julian Nagelsmann are out of the race to become Chelsea manager!

Mauricio Pochettino is still in the race, reports Fabrizio Romano.

What is Boehly cooking? 😭

Kendry Páez & Ecuador needed to beat Venezuela, to win the U17 Conmebol.

Páez scored the opener, as captain, but Venezuela equalised at 76’. Páez scored a 91st minute winner, but it was disallowed & Brazil won. 😫

What a tournament for Kendry. 💫

So many great goals I just can’t decide.

Mudryk assisted every goal we scored this month 💫

With Pochettino, Chelsea have gone for more stability and clarity first. We have been all-over the place and don't need any more complications.

I understand that bcos at this point, we have no margins for errors and Pochettino is a sure bet at getting the best out of the squad.
Pochettino is clear about what he wants. His football is not based on any philosophy but principles.

Once he identifies his group of players, he goes to work, which based on his previous clubs yields results in few weeks rather in few months or years.

Also, he's very good at player profiling and setting a structure that will get the best out of his players. However, since his football is based on intensity of runs and press, his squad needs refreshing to maintain freshness and hunger in the squad.

His man-management skill is something I'm worried about. He's not a man that insists on his way, he said he used to be like that but later felt he should be open to negotiate with players. He's more like Wenger than Sir Alex in that sense but in big teams, you need Sir Alex type. But like they say, "let's get to the bridge first and then figure out how to cross it."

He will definitely make a good manager for Chelsea at this stage, but how long he will last and how much he will win, time will tell.

Spurs worst season under him was when they finished their stadium and signed no players but still finished 4th❤️

Frank Lampard confirms Reece Jaes and Mason Mount are 'probably' out for the rest of the season 😩

🗣Armando Broja on his knee injury:

"I am recovering much faster than expected. Being able to get back into the gym and work on strength training has been a huge boost for me, as I was forced to stay in bed and spend more time in physiotherapy during the first few weeks after surgery. It was the most difficult period."

We miss you 😢
