A subplot to follow for the rest of the season is our pursuit of Conference/Europa League.
On one hand, playing once a week will give new coach time to train. However, we have a massive squad and the development of so many players will be stalled without European football.
We have close to 38 first team players right now, including signings/loanees. I can see it becoming 22 in the best possible case, realistically 25-27 more.
Without European football, you'll probably have at least 10 of them unhappy.
